Continuity mistake: As Charlie Brown, Patty, and Marcie are talking, the grandfather clock strikes four. Trouble is the pendulum is stuck in place, first on one side, then the other. It doesn't swing.
Continuity mistake: For the infamous closing scene, a van of drug-runners fire a double-barrelled 12-gauge shotgun straight into the windscreen of Officer Wintergreen's Electra Glide motorcycle, killing him. In the full front view, the gunfire virtually explodes the windscreen, shattering it on all sides all the way to the frame. Camera cuts to a side view and we see Wintergreen topple off as the motorcycle keeps traveling down the road. In this profile shot, the windscreen is no longer exploded, but now has a neat 4-inch hole in it.
Continuity mistake: The attachment to the minisub is inconsistent. It is an open hook first then as it's being lifted it becomes an enclosed shackle looking quite different. Plus a figure now appears on the roof. Ben Gazzara has just gone below. (00:57:42)
Continuity mistake: Some scenes show the actresses in their yellow prison dresses getting dirty, yet a minute or so after this, they're clean again.
Continuity mistake: Vicky is in her office, wearing glasses, until a girl knocks on her door and walks in, and the glasses have vanished.

Continuity mistake: Victor Pivert is in full road rage mode as he is waiting at a road stop after skipping most of the line speeding through the emergency lane. As he bickers with his French compatriot, he hammers his horn initially with the right hand, then after a pause he starts hitting it with his left hand in a side view, which turns instantly into his right hand at the cut. Continuity mistake: As the two gorillas watch the approaching humans, one gorilla raises the telescope, then after the angle change, raises it again.
Continuity mistake: When Ray and Alex incapacitate the last of the 4 cops, he flips on the ground wearing his hat. When they approach him to finish him off, his hat is at distance. (00:10:00)
Continuity mistake: During the opening credits, the marching band pass the Queen Victoria statue in Windsor twice on their way to the castle.
Continuity mistake: The restraining ropes around Ann's wrist immediately change length from her wrists being tied close together to four inches apart before using the saw to slice through them.
Continuity mistake: Talking with his new and still wet behind the ears boss, Rizzo advises him against trying to blitz the one-handed delinquent. He is making a gesture with his right hand, but at the cut here he is moving his left hand instead, with the arm that suddenly is on the table. (00:27:15)
Continuity mistake: When Aleme reads from the book about castles, there's an obvious difference between the close-ups (right hand moving on the page) and the wider shots (she holds the page, then she is moving the left hand on it instead of the right). (01:43:20)
Continuity mistake: At the gas station, Arletty looks at the attendant discharging his gun in the nearby trees. In the next shots, she is holding her bag randomly with or without the shoulder strap up. (00:05:10)
Continuity mistake: When Linus and Lucy are talking to Snoopy he's got a shopping cart stuck on his right leg. Then, when he's getting on the bus it's suddenly on his left leg.
Continuity mistake: When Webster breaks into his first house, he has his briefcase open, so he can get at the items he needs, but before he leaves, he picks up the torch that is sitting on his closed briefcase - he never closed his briefcase; it was open all the time.
