Continuity mistake: When the Coyote has put on his Batman outfit, you can see behind him there is a boulder and an empty box before he is about to jump. But we see the Coyote on top of the cliff in the next, the boulder and box are nowhere in sight.
Continuity mistake: When Cluck Trent is using his typewriter at the beginning of the short, you can see there is nothing by the machine, but when the camera closes in on Trent, a sign saying "Cluck Trent Reporter" appears.
Continuity mistake: When Robert Wagner falls, halfway up the mountain, Spencer Tracy's rope, which is attached to Wagner, runs through his hands, making them bleed, but, finally, he gets a grip and he pulls Wagner up. As we see Tracy's rope, as it slowly comes up, but there is no blood on it.
Continuity mistake: When Burt arrives home Milly gets up from her desk and we can see two magazines at each end of the coffee table with other items between the magazines. There is only one magazine closest to the door and three magazines at the other end and the cigarette box has moved closer to the three magazines. Continuity mistake: Just after Bader has been told he'll never fly again, he meets his girlfriend on a bridge. As they walk along the bridge, Bader is on the girl's left, but, in the long shot, Bader is now on the girl's right.
Continuity mistake: When Elmer Fudd realises that some of the elves are missing, his elf helper steps forward and you can see behind him are the other elves. When Elmer says "What shoemaker?" we return to the elf and the other elves who were behind him have disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When the bulldozer is pushing the boat on the beach, the driver is initially dark skinned with a hat. Then next shot he is fair with no hat. Then back to dark skinned with no hat. (00:24:55)

Continuity mistake: The opening scene states the date as April 10th 1865, the day of the train station robbery. Siringo tells Vance at the school money-raising event that the robbery took place 8 weeks ago, but when Clint is buried at the end, his death is April 25th 1865, only 2 weeks after the robbery.
Continuity mistake: After his meeting with Julia, Winston at home opens the drawer and in a close-up pulls the diary out from under a stack of papers which he lifted with his left hand. The angle changes, and his left hand is on the edge of the drawer, and not supporting the papers any more, nor any paper is visible. Continuity mistake: When bringing the cannister up, the rope is rigged such that the lifting rope is under the supporting rope. But as soon as it appears on deck, the lifting rope has switched and is now over the supporting rope, and the tackle is nowhere to be seen. (00:49:00)
