Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film, Errol Flynn begins to sword fight with a pirate inside the cabin of the ship. Flynn backs the pirate outside onto the deck. When the scene changes to the deck, Flynn is fighting an entirely different pirate.
Continuity mistake: When Sean shows up to meet with Mary Kate and her brother he is carrying pink roses. The entire time he is in the house the roses are now red.
Continuity mistake: When Sam points his gun at Bugs at Fort Knox, he says "But I can't take any chances!" and throws away the gun. In the next shot, the gun is back in his hand again.
Continuity mistake: In the final duel, when Gary Cooper is shot on his left arm, he grabs the spot where he was supposedly wounded with his right hand, then takes off the hand, and we don't see a wound and his shirt is not torn. In the following shot we see both the wound and the tear in the shirt. (01:14:05)
Continuity mistake: When Gene Kelly and Donald O'Conner stop for car trouble, a trolley goes by. After Gene gets bombarded by fans and runs away, he runs after another trolley going by and jumps on. The same people are in the trolley each time. (00:14:50)
Continuity mistake: In this scene we see Laura shot by a arrow. The arrow hits her in the right upper chest just below the neck. In the next shot they cut out the arrow and it's very clear the arrow has moved to the top of the right shoulder near the collar bone.
Continuity mistake: As Lana Turner and Kirk Douglas are toasting with champagne, the cigarette she is holding disappears.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Bing Crosby is talking to Ethel Barrymore at a picnic day for the girls of he very snobbish school, he makes a big deal out of taking out a cigarette and lighting it, but in the next shot - no cigarette.
Continuity mistake: When Poochini is rehearsing, Mysto the Magician knocks on the door of his dressing room. At this point, you can see that the handle is on the left hand side of the door, but when Poochini opens the door, he opens it from the right hand side.
Continuity mistake: When the green devil recalls the time Tom serenaded another girl with his big bull fiddle, his whiskers disappear for a moment.
Continuity mistake: When the little dog throws items from the cabinet down to Spike, Spike catches two trays of glasses, a yellow vase with his right foot and a pink teapot with his left foot. But when Spike goes out of the house after a pepper pot lands on his nose, the vase and teapot have changed positions.
Continuity mistake: When Bob Hope is tied to the raised barber chair you can tell it is his stunt double in the far away shots because of the way his hair changes.
Continuity mistake: In this scene we see a flight of Navy Corsair fighters leaving the deck of an aircraft carrier on a training run. While in the air a close up shot of the flight leader's cockpit reveals that the aircraft in the background have changed into Grumman Wildcat fighters. When they make their attack run it's back to Corsair fighters with no sign of the Wildcat fighters.
Continuity mistake: When the Coyote is pursuing the Road Runner at the start of the cartoon, he is holding a fork in his left hand and a knife in his right. But when we see the Coyote a few seconds later, he is now holding the knife in his left and the fork in his right.
Continuity mistake: When the captain lifts the lid and finds that Jerry has been eating his pancakes, you can see there is a knife behind the plate, but when we see a close-up of Jerry in the next shot, the knife has disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When Jack is speaking to Princess Eloise near the water well, he turns his head to the right. In the following shot, his head is turned to the left.
Continuity mistake: When we first see Bugs' hole, you can see there are three carrot ends around it. After the dogs run over the hole, there are now only two carrot ends, and when the hunters pass over the hole, there are now three.
Continuity mistake: The pictures on the wall of Calvero's apartment move around during the scenes, particularly the photos flanking the clock on the mantle above the fireplace. A particularly striking example is during the scene wherein Terry recovers the ability to walk. The scene starts off with a photographic-profile-portrait of Chaplin (not decked out as Calvero the Clown) on the left side of the clock and on the right side of the clock, a full-length photo of Calvero the Clown wearing a straw hat, and leaning on his cane, which is held in his left hand. As the scene progresses, the portrait to the left of the clock is replaced by a half-length photo of Calvero the Clown wearing a top hat, with his cane swung across his body, angled up. As Terry realizes she can walk, the portrait re-appears to the left of the clock, and there is nothing to the right of the clock.
Continuity mistake: When we see the "Lump Massager" at work on the lump on Wile E. Coyote's head, you can see that there are three valves on the machine, but when we see Wile E. at work on his drawing board in the next shot, there are now two valves on it.
Continuity mistake: When the Coyote is curled up like a spring, he is holding a knife in his left hand and a fork in his hand. When he starts chasing the Road Runner, he now has the fork in his left hand and the knife in his right.
