Trivia: In the second mission, Shipping and Receiving, you'll find the music shop where you have to insert the gear into the locking mechanism to open the door to where the instruments are located. There is a flute and a recording cylinder to loot. Next to the cylinder is a horn. If you look closely, you'll notice that it's the Horn of Quintus that you have to acquire from the Bonehoard in the third mission of the first game.
Trivia: Due to a developer oversight, you can spot the early poster design seen in pre-release material on the side of the train cars in the Granny Canyon bonus game.

Trivia: After getting the magical powder, head straight to Kakariko Village. Once there, find the old woman who is outside sweeping and throw the powder on her and she will turn into a fairy. While still at Kakariko Village, go inside the house directly to the left of the merchant and lift up the first pot to reveal a chicken. Throw the powder on the chicken and it will turn into a human.
Trivia: There are some secret trainers near Goldenrod City. To get to them, surf on the water next to the Daycare House. Keep going down until you reach land. These trainers have nothing special, they just train your Pokemon and give you money. However, the trainer facing up will give you Soft Sand after defeating her, which ups the power of ground moves. There is also some rare candy on the island a bit further up. It is in a tree.

Trivia: Finding all 367 Gap Tricks in the game unlocks the secret character, Private Carrera. This character was originally only available in the first game with a cheat code, and is modeled after porn star, Asia Carrera. Upon discovering that she has been snuck into the game, she demanded money for the use of her likeness. However, the dev team was unable to pay the amount, so they reached an agreement to include her in the second game in a bigger role.

Trivia: After meeting with Jagger Valance, take a few steps to the right and look at the ground. There is a piece of paper there granting parole for an inmate named Bonner. Bonner is a character that is officially met in the sequel "Assault on Dark Athena."
