Trivia: When meeting the Happy Mask Salesman for the first time, he is carrying a lot of masks on his back. One of the masks is Mario's face.
Trivia: After leaving the main menu of RE4 for about 20 seconds, the trailer for the game comes up. During the course of the trailer, there is a short scene of Ashley putting her head in her arms. This is a reverse of a cut scene in the game where you rescue her after fighting the Iron Maiden, in which she looks up to see Leon.
Trivia: If you save Falco from the enemies chasing him on Cornaria, and then fly through all the stone loops in the lake, Falco will comment on your flying. He will then tell you to follow him and lead you into the waterfall where you fight an alternate boss and go through Lylat System on the red path.
Trivia: After Dr. Young is killed in the warden's office, go back down the stairs but do not go through the archway. Instead, after going down the steps, turn right and you will come to a blank wall. Spray the explosive gel on the wall three times and then detonate it. The wall will break apart and you will find a secret room. Go inside and you will find blueprints for the Arkham City Prison Complex.
Trivia: On the second level (Outskirts) there are newspaper clippings all around the building walls. If you look at one of them, you will find a snapshot of Master Chief shooting a turret in a another secret level that was not put in to the game.
Trivia: Originally this game was going to be completely different, it even got though around 70-80% completion before being scrapped. Robert Kendo and Marvin (the gun shop owner and dying cop, respectively) were going to be Claire and Leon's partner characters, but when the game was scrapped as it played too much like the first game, they were given substantially smaller roles, both lasting barely more than five minutes each.
Trivia: When you select the Gingerbread man for multiplayer he says "Bite my crunchy brown ass." A direct reference to Futurama's Bender and his catch phrase "Bite my shiny metal ass."
Trivia: Try completing the game on legendary, you will get a funny outro for your time.
Trivia: Originally, the Short Circuit was designed more as a minigun like weapon that opened up from the Engineer's glove. However, Valve decided to they wanted a less powerful electric based weapon, so the current design is what it was changed to.
Trivia: When finding the collectibles in game, Doomguy inspects each one briefly before pocketing it. Each bears a resemblance to Doomguy in his armor in one form or another in various color schemes. When you find the collectible titled Doomguy as his own counterpart, you Doomguy will actually fist bump the doll in a unique animation that only plays for this one collectible.
Trivia: Chloe wears a necklace that's made of three bullets throughout the game. This is commonly viewed as either representing the three people who "abandoned" her and thus hurt her (her father, Max and Rachel Amber), or representing three times Chloe is murdered during the game - When she is shot by Nathan at the start, when she is shot by Jefferson in chapter four, and when Max can chose to sacrifice her to save the town in Chapter Five.
Trivia: At the beginning of the game (introduction), the camera moves around all through the city while Peter Parker is narrating. When the camera moves around the Chrysler Building, you can see a black figure standing on the top. That figure is Black Cat, who teams up with you later in the game.
Trivia: For players of the 3DS version, when you receive the Ocarina, press the following buttons. X, Y, R, X, Y, R, X, Y, R, L, R. The song that is played is the Song of Healing, which appears in The Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask.
Trivia: In the first chapter Chris and Sheva are heading towards the meat shop where they will meet their contact. If you start running after the cut scene in front of the shop and get there before Sheva does, the contact will say, "I heard there were two of you. Where's your partner?"
Trivia: In the bonus room, there is a door marked "Trailers" which lets you watch the trailer for LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures After viewing the trailer, you can buy Indiana Jones. The entire trailer must be viewed to unlock Indiana Jones.
Trivia: Any where once you get the wind waker, take it out. Switch to 6/4 time and move the c-stick like this: up, up, up, center (take finger off c-stick), down, right, right, left, and you should hear, in tempo, the "joyful all ye nations rise" passage from Hark the Herald Angels Sing.
Trivia: If you search around in either the south-eastern or south-western area of the map, you should find an unlisted house that has bandits in it.
