Mistakes
When the barrels are being tossed off the Interceptor there is a shot of a crewman in an orange jacket holding a cannonball in his hands and passing it to someone on his left. As the shot pans to the side, behind that crewman that passed the cannonball, we see part of the head of someone and also see Will's shoulder and arm - he just climbed out from below deck. Yet in the very next shot, Will is just coming up from below deck. (Perhaps better in slow motion.) See more...

The final time the cannon goes off when the Black Pearl crew are ransacking the town where Will and Elizabeth live, the smoke cloud across the moon forms a Mickey Mouse silhouette. See more...
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
Revealing: Either the first shot has a gratuitous view of the fort or the composite people neglected to add the fort in the second shot. Norrington says, "...this is the day that Capt. Jack Sparrow almost escaped. Take him away." The night shot that follows, shows the bridge archway, and beyond it the pier, Interceptor, the fort and its parapet. After Will breaks Jack out of prison, they approach the same archway and beyond it is the pier and Interceptor, but in this shot we don't see the fort and its parapet, nor the line that Jack slid down the day before. The camera angle is exactly the same. The angle is not the same. The fort is there to the right of the circle in the dark picture.
