Mistakes
After skewering the three skeletal pirates, Will places the lit bomb inside of Jacoby. In the close-up Will places the bomb through Jacoby's ribs, right under his beard and Jacoby's leather strap and buckle are not seen. Yet in the next shot as Will removes his hand, the strap and buckle are slung across Jacoby's ribs near his beard. It should have been seen in the close-up. See more...
Trivia
One of Barbossa's pirates has a beard with dreadlocks that's always on fire in the film. There is wire with copper sockets in the ends of the dreads, where they would insert incense and burn it for the smoking effect. After every take they would have to reinsert incense and relight his beard. During the sword play, the locks in his beard would flop around, causing it to possibly burn himself or someone else, or even light up the rest of his beard. See more...

Other: In the scene where Jack and Will have just taken the Interceptor and the Dauntless is coming about, the men on the row boat get caught in its path. A second after the men abandon ship, you see the boat get destroyed. If you look closely at the forward wake of the ship, the boat is too far away to be destroyed by the front of the ship. And since the boat intially goes down when it's struck, it can't be the keel of the ship, since that would send it up.
