Quotes

Elizabeth Swann: But you were marooned on this island before, weren't you? So we can escape in the same way you did then.

When the coach leaves, Will walks down the steps. Both side gardens are edged with stones outside the front door. The driveway is also lined with the stones. When the pirates invade their home, Ragetti yells, "Up there." The front door's open and the stones are now lined up parallel to the front of the doorway, just past where the steps should be. Even if it's meant to be the stones lining the opposite end of the driveway, the distance of the far side and proportional size of the rocks are wrong. See more...

Trivia

Johnny Depp actually had his teeth capped for the film, and kept the caps on for several months after the filming was completed in case he was called back for reshoots. See more...

Jack and Will jump down from the beams and Jack reaches for the bag of soot (really cocoa powder). In the back shot of Will as he approaches Jack, Will has his sword in his right hand. In the front close-up of Will as Jack starts to spray him, his right hand is NOT holding the sword - we SEE his hand when he turns. In the next wide shot, Jack is still spraying the soot, Will is again holding the sword in his right hand, then Jack kicks the sword out of Will's hand.
