Elizabeth Swann: Mr Sparrow, the entire British navy is looking for me, this signal is over a thousand feet high, do you really think there is no chance they will see it?

[Jack makes some threatening moves towards Elizabeth, then storms off up the beach. Walking backwards looking at her, he then turns around to see a huge ship moored, with a row boat coming to rescue them. He turns back to look at Elizabeth Swann.]

Jack Sparrow: There'll be no living with her after this!

Mistakes

When the gallows, in the Fort's courtyard, blows up, just before the huge explosion, four of the platform legs can be seen exploding in the same place, at the same time. A horse and rider pass by in the wide shot, another platform leg, the arm of the gallows and the actual platform explode in sync. Also, in the next close-up we see where the nearest leg of the platform has been cut to help facilitate the explosions impact. See more...

Trivia

Be sure to stay through the credits, at the end there is an interesting scene. See more...

At the Fort, the two columns of soldiers separate and Norrington walks into view. It's shouted, "Right about face," and the soldier behind Norrington on his left has his black bag to his side. When "present arms" is shouted, the soldier's black bag is in front. Also, Governor Swann, in the front wide shot, is standing on the second step from the bottom. In the next close-up, he's standing on a step further up - the soldier to his left in the previous shot was standing on the same step as him.
