Mistakes
When Bilbo is leaving, he drops the Ring at the doorway, turns and walks out the door. Gandalf steps outside after him. Gandalf never pulls at the door, nor does he even touch it. He stands outside talking with Bilbo. When the door is shown behind Gandalf it is wide open. Bilbo walks down the path with Gandalf looking at him. The next shot is a close-up and we see the shadow of the door opening to reveal the Ring. Then a shot looking up at Gandalf as he steps through the doorway. See more...
Trivia
When filming "Fellowship," the actors playing the Hobbits required hours of work just to get on their Hobbit feet. It was so long and terrible that Sean Astin (Sam) counted the amount of times they had to put their feet on when it never showed up on camera in that day of filming. The final count was 50. When Frodo tells Sam about the Wood Elves, they both run up the hill and crouch behind a fallen log. In the shot of their backs and the elves in the background, Frodo is on the right side and Sam on the left. In the previous shot of their faces, Frodo was also on the right and Sam on the left.
