Revealing mistake: The name of the fictional bus company in this programme is the Luxton Bus Company, but in close up shots in some episodes you can see the legal lettering on the lower edge of the side of the buses which reads Eastern National - the company that owned the buses used for filming.

Radio Control - S3-E8

Continuity mistake: At the end when Stan comes out of the manager's office to explain what happened when the bus got stuck under the low bridge, Stan and Jack drive out in the same bus that hit the bridge which was badly damaged but now is suddenly repaired.

Character mistake: When Stan tells the airplane pilot to go and get S-T-U-F-F-E-D over the radio, he incorrectly identifies himself as 'Sugar Tango' instead of 'Sugar Bertie'.

Continuity mistake: As the bus is approaching the bridge you can see out of the front windows on the top deck the car in front, a grey Rover, is about to go under the bridge, but when Blakey looks out of the front window and sees the low bridge, the Rover is approaching the bridge a second time.

Revealing mistake: When Stan and Jack are kissing the clippies as they come out of the ladies, if you look through the slits in the door you can see the next clippie who comes out and kisses Blakey waiting behind the door for her cue.

Christmas Duty - S4-E5

Plot hole: In Blakey's office Stan shows Blakey the toy bus he has just brought for his nephew. How can Stan have a nephew when he isn't married and his only sibling is his sister Olive, who doesn't have any children?

Canteen Trouble - S5-E7

Visible crew/equipment: At the end of Part One when the camera pans along the side of the bus, you can see the reflection of stage lighting, a television monitor and several other pieces of film equipment in its windows.

Lost Property - S5-E9

Revealing mistake: When Stan drives the bus into the depot there are two buses parked outside on the right on which the Eastern national logo can be seen instead of Luxton bus company (the name of the bus company in the programme). Eastern national's depot and buses were used for filming.

Boxing Day Social - S5-E15

Visible crew/equipment: In the opening scene, when Inspector Blake informs Stan and Arthur that the 10:45 bus has arrived, the camera pans over to the door of the bus where another cameraman's shadow can be seen on the side of the bus.

On the Omnibuses - S7-E6

Factual error: In the Edwardian street scene a modern car can be seen behind the cart on the left of the screen - a beige Morris 1800, 1968-1972 model.
