Starring: Anna Karen, Bob Grant, Reg Varney, Stephen Lewis
Corrected entry: Arthur's motorbike is a BSA registration number JVB54 which also appears in "Dad's Army" as air raid warden Hodges' motorbike even though it is a 1950's model.
Correction: Whilst the bike was first registered in 1951, it is a 1945 BSA M21. These bikes started life in 1939 and were used by the army in great numbers (126,000). After the war the WD versions were sold off and repainted in civvy colours. The fact that it has no rear suspension and girder front forks are the clues.

In the opening scene, when Inspector Blake informs Stan and Arthur that the 10:45 bus has arrived, the camera pans over to the door of the bus where another cameraman's shadow can be seen on the side of the bus.
Even though Doris Hare played Reg Varney's mother in the series, she was only 11 years older than him.
