...and the Bag's in the River - S1-E3
Character mistake: When Walt and Gretchen are talking about the elements in the body, they list hydrogen, oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, calcium, iron, sodium, and phosphorus. The percentage is short and she says "supposedly that's everything." But they don't count elements like sulfur (which has a greater abundance than sodium), potassium, chlorine, and magnesium. Even as college students, they would know those elements are in the body.
Factual error: Jesse's home number is (505) 148-3369. However, US phone numbers can't have an exchange that starts with 1. (00:14:30)

Continuity mistake: When Gus walks towards the nursing home towards the end of the episode, two flags in the background stop waving, but in the next shot they suddenly wave again.
Continuity mistake: Mike's car is not visible when Walt breaks into his own backyard. Mike is still there, as you see him hiding behind the corner, and later getting into his car.
Continuity mistake: When Emilio's body crashes through the ceiling and lands on the downstairs floor, there is one huge chunk of carcass that lands on the floor in one piece. When the remnants of the body are shown from a different angle, they have been replaced with numerous, smaller chunks. (00:45:30)
Continuity mistake: At the end of the episode when Walt and Jesse are leaving the junkyard, the camera pans to Tuco and Ganzo watching them drive away. However, this is at the same time Ganzo is moving No Doze's body and is subsequently crushed by a car.
Chosen answer: It is part of the ritual for la Santa Muerte. It is a sign of humility and sacrifice.
