Continuity mistake: Daria arrives at school without her glasses (her choice). When the scene changes to Mr. O'Neil's class, first shown from the back facing O'Neil and the backside of students, Daria (sitting on the left of the screen) is shown from behind and her glasses are showing on her face (as usual). When Daria is next shown talking close up in the remainder of the scene, she is without her glasses again.
Continuity mistake: In the Season 1 episode "Too Cute," Quinn mentions to Sandy that Sandy picked out Quinn's outfit that she's wearing. This could not be possible as Quinn had that outfit (the same one she always wears in every episode) since BEFORE they moved to their current town and before the girls met anyone in their school they first went to in the first episode.
Continuity mistake: When Daria is on the couch with her dad she's holding a mug but the next shot it's a glass. (00:15:39)
Fat Like Me - S5-E3
Factual error: When we see Tiffani and Stacy talk on the phone with Quinn (on the other end), we hear a call waiting beep from Quinn's end (but the camera still on the two girls' side) and Quinn mentions she's getting a call from Sandi. The mistake is only Quinn herself would have heard the "beep" and the other girls would have just heard Quinn's voice cut off with dead air for a second. Tiffani and Stacy should not have heard that "beep" like it was shown in the episode.
Continuity mistake: Throughout the episode, the girl in Jane's painting rests her head on her hands. In her reflection, her hands are turned outward on her chin even though she is sitting there with her hands turned inward.
Continuity mistake: In the mall just before arriving at the doctor's office, Daria and Quinn walk by a business called "Butt Hut" and go fully past it, and then in a closer shot of the girls walking, they walk by "Butt Hut" again.
Continuity mistake: As Jody is shown up close talking in the classroom, her hair (usually black) looks dark grey in this shot - then after a camera angle change with her further out, suddenly her hair is black once again.
Continuity mistake: When Daria and Kevin are talking in front of the lockers early in the episode, the lockers don't have any numbers on them like they normally do in other episodes.
Continuity mistake: When Daria is talking to her mother after getting home from visiting a college, the picture board on the wall above the stairs is blank instead of the usual pictures of the family and when the girls were much younger. It returns to normal later in the film.
Continuity mistake: Quinn mentions to her new coworkers at the restaurant that this is her first job, but she already had a job in episode 3-7 (It Happened One Nut) in a pet store.
That Was Then, This is Dumb - S2-E5
Continuity mistake: In the first scene in the kitchen, the clock properly has hands. In the rest of the scenes in the episode, the same clock has no hands at all.
Plot hole: Throughout the series, Sandy always refers to Daria as "Quinn's cousin" or "that girl that lives with Quinn" or other random titles for Daria (not knowing that Daria is Quinn's sister). Although Quinn admits to Sandy that Daria is really her sister in one of the last episodes of the final season, in this first episode of the series, Sandy is in the crowd watching Daria give a speech and Daria reveals to everyone Quinn is her sister (embarrassing Quinn). Sandy should already know they're sisters.
Continuity mistake: The two tablets that Helen made both first have the word "RULES" printed on the top, but in a later scene, one of the tablets says "CONT" on the top, and Daria then pushes it over, and we see the backside of that tablet completely blank. This is not possible as both tablets had the word "RULES", so seeing each side of one tablet without that word on it doesn't make sense.
Revealing mistake: When the fashion club is looking at clothes in the store, Quinn and Stacy are looking in the mirror and their reflections properly show. When a slightly further angle is shown including Sandy (who stands right next to Quinn), Sandy's reflection does not show in the mirror at all (even though she's standing right by it). Also, no reflections are shown of any scenery in the store or the other two girls (who are within reflection range) - again, just Quinn and Stacy are reflected.
Continuity mistake: When Daria first hops in the van, she bangs the top of her head on the wall of the door getting in, but later, when the bruise is shown from the incident, it is now on her lower forehead (just above her eyes). The bruise would have been much higher up according to where she first hit her head.
Audio problem: When Trent is playing the guitar for Daria outside, he plays a "G" chord several times. Right after telling her it's a "G" chord, he plays it again, then switches his hand on the strings to a completely different area and strums (which should play a whole different sounding chord), but we still hear the same "G" as if he didn't move his hand on the strings at all.
Continuity mistake: As Daria and Jane are talking to each other in front of the lockers in the hallway at school, the locker to the right of where Daria is standing is locker #307, then shows it as #104, then #307 again.
The F Word - S4-E5
Continuity mistake: When the kids in the classroom are cheering, the map of the world on the wall shows South America slanted a bit sideways, but shortly after, when the class is over and the kids start to leave, South America is now shown the proper way.
Factual error: The roulette game on the boat has some mistakes in it. First, the line of numbers 13, 14, 15 is all the opposite colours of a real roulette game. Then, when showing the game from a farther angle (where you don't see the numbers), many squares are the opposite colour of a real gameboard.
Continuity mistake: In the living room scene (while Quinn is playing Operation and Daria is sitting on the couch), the phone and notebook appear to swap positions throughout the scene.

Answer: "Mack Daddy" was a 90s phrase meaning "Ladies man," and Mack simply doesn't like the stupid nickname.
