Continuity mistake: When Magnum answers the phone call from John Costa he's wearing the new shirt with a striped colorful pattern, which was a birthday present from his mother. During Magnum's introduction to Costa in the alley, the style of Magnum's shirt is the same, but the striped pattern has changed. Then the pattern changes again when Magnum returns home bruised.
