Corrected entry: In this episode, James recalls he and Florida, when first getting married, couldn't afford to start having children until James got a job, then his politician friend got him a job at the stockyard, and then had JJ. This whole story is in total contrast with an earlier episode in the series, in which James admitted the reason he married Florida is because she was already pregnant.

Springtime in the Ghetto - S1-E10
Continuity mistake: In one scene, the plaque Florida wins is on the wall before she actually wins it.
James: You know what I'm gonna leave the world when I go, Florida? A tombstone that reads "Here lies James Evans. Back in the hole again."
Trivia: The character of Michael Evans was named after co-creator Michael Evans. The real Michael Evans was the original Lionel on "The Jeffersons".
Question: Neck Bone and Sweet Pea are referred to by Florida as their real names, Tyrone and Sylvester. Do we know which name goes to which guy? (I've always wondered this).
Answer: Neck Bone is Sylvester and Sweet Pea is Tyrone.
For some reason, I always thought it was the other way around but really no way of knowing. I'm assuming your answer is based on how Florida looks their directions near the end of the episode while saying their names.
They are listed as such on IMDb.com. So it is possible to check. Doug Grant played Sweet Pea and Michael D. Roberts played Neck Bone.

Correction: This entry is incorrect. In an earlier episode when James stated he married Florida because she was pregnant, he was joking, not serious.
