Continuity mistake: When we first see Fred and Barney on stage at "The Ed Sullystone Show", the curtain behind them has creases, but in a close-up of the two, it appears completely flat.

Continuity mistake: When Barney is knocking on the door at Fred's house after seeing an advert in the newspaper, Fred says "I'll get it, Wilma!" and stops near the door. At this point, Fred is well away from the door, but in the next shot he is now standing near the corner of it.

Continuity mistake: When Fred starts shrinking after he has drunk all of the reducing formula, he is holding a mixing bowl in his right hand. When he has fully shrunk, the bowl is nowhere to be seen.

Continuity mistake: When the doctor tells Fred to take aspirin twice daily, Fred is positioned near the corner of the doctor's table and Barney is right behind him. But in a close-up of Fred in the next shot, Barney is nowhere to be seen.

Continuity mistake: When Barney shows Fred the circled ad in the newspaper about auditioning for "The Ed Sullystone Show", we see a close-up of the ad and you can see that the circle around the ad is completely different from the one seen in the previous shot.

Continuity mistake: When Fred goes over to Wilma after she drops the cups and saucers after seeing him shrunk, the broken crockery that surrounds him is completely different to what's seen in the previous shot.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Fred and Barney are in the doctor's surgery, the doctor produces a lollipop for Fred. When he produces the lollipop, you can see it's well away from Fred, but as the shot changes the lollipop is much closer to him than it was in the previous shot.

Continuity mistake: When Fred tells Wilma that he is giving up inventing for good at the end of the episode, you can see that Betty is sitting next to Wilma on the couch. When we see a close-up of Fred in the next shot, Betty is missing.
