Deliberate mistake: The washing machine must have been primed with explosives and petrol in order to catch fire. The machine is not actually on. Also, there are no electrical connections behind the drain filter cover (where the machine starts smoking and sparking). There is just a removable plastic filter and nothing else. Factual error: In this episode Blackwall Station is shown as a London Underground tube station. Blackwall Station is a Docklands Light Rail (DLR) station. Also look at the destination sign on the front of the train, which reads 'THAMES LINE', No such line/station exists on the London Underground.
