Top of the Pops was shown on a Thursday night when this episode was shown in 1978, making this day Friday - there is no school on Saturdays.

Trivia: When Banksie, Jackie, Jean-Paul and Sarah first arrive at the disused factory to drive Phil's car, the scaffolding in the background is on the Eastenders set which was under construction when this series was being filmed. From 1984 until 2001 Grange Hill was made at the BBC Elstree studio's, where Eastenders has been filmed since 1985.
