Continuity mistake: When Jin comes home, he heads straight for the bathroom and washes blood off his hands. Blood stains on his white shirt change between shots, including one rather large blood stain on his right sleeve which disappears. (00:20:20)

Continuity mistake: As Kate and Jack head back to the beach, while Jack explains why they should move to the caves, when Kate lifts the bag and slings it round her shoulder, opposite sides of the bag face out between the first and second shots. Then, in the third shot it hangs from her shoulder very differently. (00:22:15)

Continuity mistake: When Kate picks the holdall up she does so in her right hand. However this instantly swaps to her left hand. (00:22:15)

Continuity mistake: When Sayid returns to the beach after Jack mentions moving to the caves, he picks up his axe blade down. When he walks off it's blade up. (00:25:45)

Continuity mistake: When Sayid walks over to Michael, Michael has his suitcase open and a blue shirt and some white items visible in it. When Michael throws the shirt from his hands down behind him, the remaining white items have vanished. (00:26:20)

Continuity mistake: When Sun is asking Michael's help to free Jin, from behind, Michael's right arm is raised, but from the front, his left arm is raised, and the axe also switches hands. (00:30:10)

Continuity mistake: When Michael is ranting at Jin, his grip on the axe changes between instant cuts. (00:34:45)

Continuity mistake: When Charlie is searching through the medicine pots the tape on his fingers swaps hands. (00:08:50)

Continuity mistake: When Charlie speaks to Liam outside the church, Charlie's long scarf has a mind of its own, while round his neck, as it goes from behind his shoulder to in front, and so on. (00:10:20)

Continuity mistake: We see Drive Shaft preforming the song We All Everybody for the first time during a live performance. In this clip, Liam's microphone is constantly changing position without him touching it. (00:14:40)

Continuity mistake: When Sayid goes to climb the tree for the second antenna, Kate has got most of her rocket stick sticking out of the backpack. When she turns to leave, there is only a small amount sticking out. (00:22:40)

Continuity mistake: When Charlie visits Liam at his home, the pitcher, glasses, etc, on the table change positions between shots. (00:30:30)

Continuity mistake: When Sawyer is in bed with his girl, he puts his finger on her chin and says "What do you want right now?". When it cuts his hand is gone. (00:01:45)

Continuity mistake: When Claire is writing in her diary, in the close-up the large decorative bookmark hangs down from the book, yet in the next shot, as Charlie walks over, the bookmark is on the other side and under her fingers. (00:04:50)

Continuity mistake: When Charlie is talking to Claire at the start and he says about there being a doctor at the caves, Claire has her hands on her baby bump. Camera changes and one hand is raised and the other is holding a bottle of water. (00:05:40)

Continuity mistake: Just after Sayid has woken Sawyer up by throwing water in his face, there is a shot of Sayid from behind the tree Sawyer is tied to, and you can see a bit of Sawyer's hair. However, it is hardly wet, if at all, and when the camera cuts back to Sawyer his hair is drenched again. (00:22:20)

Continuity mistake: While Sawyer is tied to a tree in the "jungle of mystery," Sayid throws water on Sawyer's face to wake him. The amount and pattern of water stain on Sawyer's tee shirt differs significantly in the following shots. (00:22:30)

Continuity mistake: When Sawyer is tied to the tree, his hair is constantly changing positions between shots. Most noticeable is the wet hair stuck to his forehead. (00:23:00)

Continuity mistake: After Sawyer admits to Kate that he doesn't have the inhalers, Sayid and he get into a tussle. In the first shot, the back of Sayid's white shirt is fairly clean as he is standing, but in the next wider shot the back is completely filthy - before he and Sawyer ever even hit the ground.
