Continuity mistake: At the very beginning, Alan and Charlie are at the table talking about the woman Charlie is seeing. When Alan asks "at a leisurely pace or if you were developmentally challenged?", Alan is picking up a glass about to take a drink. In the next cut from behind Alan, he is now eating a fry. After Charlie says "Aren't you clever? Bite me", Alan has the glass back in his hand.

Continuity mistake: During Jake's and Charlies argument about when Mia called, the reindeer hat that Charlie takes off Jake's head changes places and disappears during cuts.

Continuity mistake: After Alan takes Judith's "Harper's" doormat, Alan and Charlie go to the bar where Alan breaks the neck off the giraffe. The pieces of the giraffe change spots multiple times throughout cuts from Charlie and Alan.
The War Against Gingivitis - S9-E18
Continuity mistake: At the beginning after Waldon's ex-wife video calls Waldon about Billy, Waldon goes outside to the balcony and screams. When Waldon screams, there's a cut to Alan by the sink where he also screams, breaks a plate and drops a green towel on the floor. The next cut after Alan, is Waldon coming back inside and Alan asking "Are you all right?" Look in the background and the green towel is all of a sudden folded and hanging on the side of the sink.
Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the episode, Alan and Jake return to their hotel room with a bucket of chicken and sit side by side. Once they start talking about opening a restaurant and naming it, the bucket gets noticeably closer to Alan's left arm between cuts from him to Jake.
Continuity mistake: While Evelyn is at Charlie's asking Alan if he's considered that there may be another man at Judith's "shacking up with her," Evelyn is wearing a blue 2-piece skirt suit, but in Charlie's close-up Evelyn's wearing a white suit with a red floral pattern when she's standing in front of Charlie, at the left side of the screen. (In the original pilot Evelyn is played by Blythe Danner wearing the floral suit, but she had to back out and was replaced by Holland Taylor, who's wearing the blue suit).
Rough Night in Hump Junction (aka His Ugly Bundle) - S5-E15
Continuity mistake: When Charlie is with Mia and her father comes in, she's saying: "Daddy, this is Charlie, remember I told you about him." Back when Mia and Charlie were dating, he actually met Mia's parents at least twice.
Chosen answer: Alan might have thought the bra was too fancy to belong to a regular woman, "I'd love to meet the girl who filled this", he says. He assumed it was one of Charlie's many women.
