Chimera - S7-E15

Character mistake: In the first scene in the coffee shop, Pete suggests going to the Zoo and Sam tells him there is no zoo in Colorado Springs. Colorado Springs does have a zoo, that was founded in 1926 and has operated continuously since. It is less than 3 miles from the city center and Sam both attended The Air Force Academy, and has lived in the city for at least seven years, so it is inconceivable she wouldn't know it exists. Also her answer appears genuine and not intended to deflect Pete's invitation by lying. (00:04:30)

Lost City: Part 1 - S7-E21

Continuity mistake: When they are about to blow up the ancient device at the ruins, Col. O'Neill sticks a wad of C4 to the wall in the corner, when the shot changes, the explosives have moved approximately 6 inches to the left.

Lockdown - S8-E3

Other mistake: When they are securing the base into three zones after already going into lockdown they secure zone one. Then zone three. Then zone two is secured. But because zone two is in between zones one and three it would already be secure. They are securing the zones from each other. Clearly showing O'Neill secure zone two with a closing bulkhead door displays the incompetence of one of the other two characters. (00:29:40 - 00:32:00)

Lockdown - S8-E3

Other mistake: At the end, Anubis/Vaselov is sent to KS7-535 and we see a shot of the gate being partially buried in snow and Anubis frozen. However, the wormhole should have cleared all the snow in its path when it established, meaning it wouldn't be buried in the snow as seen.

Endgame - S8-E10

Continuity mistake: When Hoskin is shot by Carter, the position of his body changes from how we see him to land to the next shot of him when Carter approaches him. At first his arm is extended and his coat lands to cover his gun. In the next shot his ark is by his side and the coat is tucked under but you don't see his gun.

Citizen Joe - S8-E15

Factual error: At the end of the episode General O'Neill is introduced to Joe's wife. He is introduced as General O'Neill, but his insignia on his dress blue uniform is a Colonel - an eagle, not a General's star.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: There is no eagle insignia on his uniform. He has one star (on each shoulder) to signify General.

Threads - S8-E18

Continuity mistake: In Season 8 - Threads, when Sam is talking to Jack in his backyard (barbecue scene), the back door behind her opens and closes between shots.

Threads - S8-E18

Continuity mistake: Jacob Carter repeatedly mentions blending with Selmak 4 years ago, placing it in Series 4 (each season constitutes a year - when Carter leaves the SGC to join Atlantis at the conclusion of season 10, she talks to Teal'c about how they have spent 10 years together). However the blending occurred in Series 2 (6 years ago).

Threads - S8-E18

Character mistake: In newspaper article "Anubis plans to retake Dakara", there's a line that reads "being partially ascended has it's benefits." The word should be "its."

Avalon: Part 1 - S9-E1

Continuity mistake: When Col. Mitchell is talking to Col. Carter in the control room, the initial shot shows Carter appearing on a white computer display. The scene then cuts to a close up of the conversation and the display is black. It is also much thinner than the white display. (00:11:45)

Origin - S9-E3

Revealing mistake: As we know, the watery image of the event horizon is projected onto a blue backdrop. Ger'ak comes through the Stargate and we can see the image of the event horizon, though faint, around and above the Stargate itself and is not confined to normal area for the event horizon. Blatantly visible if you look for it on the airing of the episode on the Sci-Fi network.

Stronghold - S9-E14

Continuity mistake: Season 9, episode 14 "Stronghold": When Bratac has cleared the gate in his alkesh, there is a shot of the gate from nearly side on. There is no wormhole, despite the SGC dialing it less than a minute before.

Stronghold - S9-E14

Revealing mistake: Just after Sam shouts to Mitchell to wait for back up, there is a side shot of a soldier firing a machine gun. There are cases going into the gun without the actual bullet in them, showing they are blanks.

Camelot - S9-E20

Revealing mistake: When Carter says "It will just take a few minutes to initialize" at the super-gate and presses the screen on her hand you can see for a brief second that it is a video recording since the options for play, pause and stop show in the options bar on the screen. (00:36:30)

ClearanceClarence

Insiders - S10-E4

Revealing mistake: When Ba'al is making his escape right before the Symbiote gas is released there are two shots of Ba'al clones entering into a room. In both shots one of the Ba'al clones is not Cliff Simon. (00:37:20)

Deadman Switch - S3-E7

Aris Boch: Doctor Jackson, if you don't mind treating my wound.
Daniel Jackson: I'm an archaeologist.
Aris Boch: I know. But you're also a doctor.
Daniel Jackson: Of archaeology.
Aris Boch: Never mind. Captain, you must have some medical training.
Samantha Carter: Actually, I'm a major now.
Aris Boch: Oh, well, how very important. I'll inform the galaxy.

More trivia for Stargate SG-1

Chosen answer: Report 30185 is a joke report referring to the time when SG-1 go back in time to 1969 in the episode '1969'. The joke is that Colonel O'Neil knocked up a hippie and made sure Mitchel was taken care of throughout his life, like how he got into the 302 program while his buddy, a better pilot, did not.

Answer: This answer is incorrect, because after Mitchell said, I'm being parked on a Samantha, in a very serious tone, said seriously we can't tell you about 30185.

To clarify this entry, what Mitchell asked is "Oh, I'm being punk'd, aren't I?" The joke in the scene was 30185 was too classified for Mitchell to know, but then they turn around and tell Vala. O'Neill isn't really Mitchell's father, they were joking around. But then Samantha does honestly say they can't tell them about 30185. From there we never learn what it is.
