Trivia: Randy, played by Jonathan Taylor Thomas, gives out candy to two trick-or-treaters, who are dressed up as Simba from The Lion King and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story. Jonathan Taylor Thomas did Simba's voice in the Lion King, and Tim Allen (Tim Taylor) did Buzz's voice in Toy Story. Randy gives more candy to Simba than to Buzz Lightyear.
Trivia: Debbe Dunning gained 52 lbs. while pregnant, which she attributed to craft services being readily available on set. She was told she would have to lose all that weight after having her baby, which she said she was able to do rather quickly.

Trivia: Tim Allen got the idea of bringing Pamela Anderson back to guest in this episode after he ran into her in Las Vegas. Much like the plot of the episode, Debbe Dunning was very upset with Tim Allen over this decision. Dunning was later secured a background spot on Anderson's show Baywatch as recompense.
