Factual error: At the beginning of the episode Rabb evades two heat seeking missiles while flying a Mig-29. When Sarah asks him how he did it, he explains that he got them between the missiles and the sun which made the missiles target the sun instead since "it is a bigger target." While the sun is indeed a far larger source of infrared radiation than a fighter jet, all anti air missiles since the 1950s come equipped with navigation systems in their nose that contain an optical filter. This filters out unwanted data, including the specific infrared radiation coming from the sun. Hence it is impossible for modern anti-air heat seeking missiles to target the sun.

Character mistake: While talking with Falcon, Harm mentions the "green book" Falcon stole that listed all of the American POWs transferred to Russia after the Vietnam War. But when Harm originally found the book in "Ghost Ship", its cover was yellow.
Vivian Blackadder: Amad bin Atwa supplied money and explosives to Hasan Mohammed, who executed the attack on the Cole. They're an all-Jihad team that's been together for nine years. If Bin Atwa gives up Hasan, I want in on the kill.
Gibbs: We're not tasked with capturing Hasan Mohammed.
Vivian Blackadder: Gibbs, my brother died on the Cole.
Gibbs: I know that.
Vivian Blackadder: Then get me in on this!
Gibbs: You're not here to use NCIS as your personal instrument of revenge. You get your head around this murder case, or you pull your tailored suit out of mothballs and you march your butt right back to the J. Edgar Hoover Building.
Trivia: The new neighbor moving into Harm's apartment building is played by Nanci Chambers, who is married to David James Elliott, who portrays Harm. Chambers later had a larger supporting role as Lt. Loren Singer, an ambitious lawyer in the JAG office.
Question: Two questions and apology if I have the wrong Deputy Sheriff. 1. Why did Sheriff Denton want Deputy Gault out on that particular road? 2. Why would Lt. Reynolds still be charged with negligent homicide after it was revealed that the sheriff purposely had Gault stationed out there? Reynolds even stood by that he thought it was another part of the training exercise and wasn't aware that he was being chased by an actual law enforcement officer.
