Cigarettes and Alcohol and Rollerblading - S2-E8
Visible crew/equipment: When Ted and Dougal look into the window of Dick Byrne's house, the rope pulling Father Cyril's skateboard is visible. (00:21:50)
Father Ted: What would you say is behind tomorrow's window, Father Jack?
Father Jack: A pair of feckin' women's knickers.
Trivia: In the scene where Mrs. Doyle is telling Ted about the profanity in the book, several of the swears were not in the original script but were introduced by Pauline McLynn during filming. You can see Dermot Morgan trying not to laugh at her last line "Ride me sideways", which he hadn't been expecting.
Question: In this episode, the actor who plays the priest who turns into a hippy seems to drop his accent occasionally, for instance when he says "Blind faith, that's all we have to go on", his accent sounds more London-ish when he says "go on". Is this normal for an Irish accent or what?
Chosen answer: It's characteristic of someone putting on a fake Irish accent.

Correction: In a subsequent episode we are told that a storm 'took away the whole East side of the island'. Seems to me that the storms they get on Craggy Island wouldn't have much trouble shifting a tree a mile or two.
