Feelings... Whoa, Whoa, Whoa - S11-E9

Factual error: Cliff is convinced his neighbor is Hitler, but if Adolf Hitler were alive in 1991-2, he'd be over a hundred, and surely someone as knowledgeable as Cliff would know that. And even if he doesn't, Frasier should know that as well and correct him.

Suggested correction: However, this is a character mistake, not a factual error. The show isn't misrepresenting an established fact; it's simply a character saying something that they're mistaken about. And Frasier simply can't be bothered correcting him.

Breaking in is Hard to Do - S9-E7

Frasier: I thought that Frederick might enjoy himself.
Lilith: Enjoy himself in a bar? He's eleven months old. What kind of values can he learn here?
Frasier: Well, I thought the place had a lot to offer.
Lilith: Oh, please. He'll never learn to speak in this environment.
Norm: [Walks into the bar] Afternoon everybody.
Frederick: Norm!
[Everyone in the bar including Norm has a surprised look on their face].

One for the Road (1) - S11-E26

Question: Is it true they wanted to get Glenn Close to make a cameo as Vera Peterson in the last episode? I swear I saw photos in an entertainment mag of her filming a scene for the final episode, with the joke being Norm's long-insulted wife was actually very beautiful and classy.

Brian Katcher

Answer: The show never intended for an actress to play Vera, with the one exception being when her character appeared in the "Thanksgiving Orphans" episode, though her face was completely obscured by a pie thrown in her face. There's been online discussion on different sites about which actress could have played Vera, but it was only opinions. There's no reference to or evidence of Glenn Close having filmed a scene.
