Family Matters

The Crash Course - S2-E5

Other mistake: Eddie drives the car through the front door. This shouldn't be possible. Whenever the front of the house is shown, we see that the porch is several feet above the ground and the only way to get to it are steps that aren't wide enough apart for a car to drive between them.

Ice Station Winslow - S2-E14

Other mistake: When Eddie and Carl are out ice fishing, you can tell the background is just a wall. If you look towards the bottom, you can see the line all the way across that would make it look like a wall of scenery.

Life of the Party - S2-E18

Other mistake: Even though this is the first time that the kids are being introduced to the "Urkel Dance," Maxine is mouthing the words to the song as she dances.

Show generally

Continuity mistake: From the outside of the house, you can see the staircase and door are to the far left of the house. But from inside the house, you have a fireplace and the staircase to the right of the door. So you know it's not the same house they use in the show.

Choir Trouble - S3-E13

Steve Urkel: My dad wanted to know how I could believe in a God I can't see, touch, or analyze. I pointed out to him I also cannot see, touch or analyze an atom, but I believe it exists.

Question: In the mistakes section it mentions that Richie's mother, Rachel, and the Winslow's younger daughter, Judy, disappeared without a trace. Was there ever any explanation?

Answer: It is said that as Steve Urkel became a more popular character on the show, Judy became less important to the storylines, plus either her or her parents were demanding more money, causing her to be removed from the show entirely.

Answer: No. Call it "Chuck Cunningham Syndrome". A character is written off the show without any explanation at all.
