Modern Men - S8-E2

Uncle Albert: Is that the radio I hear, Rodney?
Rodney: No, Elton John popped in and he's rehearsing in the kitchen!

Trigger: Problems, Dave?
Rodney: I don't want to talk about it Trig. You ever been wrongly accused of something?
Trigger: Yeah once.
Rodney: Yeah, How did you get out of it?
Trigger: Well I didn't - I was guilty.

Modern Men - S8-E2

Mike: Well?
Trigger: Well what?
Mike: What are they naming the baby?
Trigger: If it's a girl, they're calling her Sigourney, after an actress. And if it's a boy, they're calling him Rodney, after Dave.

Rodney: I've been thinking.
Del Boy: Oh, leave it out Rodney, we're in enough trouble as it is.

Del Boy: Sit down, Rodney. Keep your brains warm.

Big Brother - S1-E1

Del Boy: A lot of people told me I was a right dipstick to make my brother partner in the business, but this only goes to prove how bloody right they were.

Rodney Come Home - S7-E1

Rodney: Trying to rekindle the romance in my marriage is like trying to give the kiss of life to a rasher of bacon.

Rodney: [talking about how to get a date with a beautiful woman.] Just be yourself.
Del Boy: Oh, leave it out, Rodney; I wanna be in with at least half a chance!

Del Boy: He who dares Rodney, he who dares.

Del Boy: There's no point in running away. Running away only wears out your shoes.

Boycie: Where d'you get those aces from?
Del Boy: Same place you got those kings. I always knew you were cheating, Boycie.
Boycie: Yeah, how?
Del Boy: 'Cause that wasn't the hand that I dealt you.

May the Force Be with You - S3-E5

Slater: Remember the days Del, all us lads down at the river playing Pirates? Trigger was Long John Silver, Boycie was the shipmate...what character did I play, Del?
Del: You played the bloke that walked the plank.
Slater: Yeah that's right, I was always the bloke that walked the plank. I was in and out of that water more times than a duck's head! I always wanted to be Blue Beard!
Del: Well you should've asked.
Slater: I did, but you'd never let me!
Del: I did...once.
Slater: Oh yeah, I remember that was the day that Blue Beard had to walk the plank, wasn't it.

Strangers on the Shore - S9-E2

Other mistake: Boycie asks to sleep in the Trotter's flat after being chucked out of his house and not allowed back in due to a gas leak. He states "I was going to check into a hotel, but I've left everything in the house; wallet, credit card, car keys, the lot... so all I've got is what I'm wearing." He isn't shown to be carrying any luggage. Later in the episode, Raquel complains that Boycie keeps putting on the hair gel that Del added onion puree to at the start of the episode. How was Boycie able to get his hair gel that was in his gas-filled house? One could propose that he asked the firefighters to receive it, but why wouldn't he also ask them to retrieve his wallet/credit card so that he can book into a hotel rather than sleeping on the sofa in the Trotter's overcrowded flat? Chosen answer: An apparent long string of illnesses.

Answer: Joan Mavis Trotter (Nee Hollins) was an unseen character in Only Fools And Horses, having died in 1964, 17 years before the series began. She died of an alcohol related illness due to both her sham marriage to Reg Trotter and being hit hard by the death of her secret lover Freddie "The Frog" Robdal.

Her maiden name was not 'Hollins'; that is the name of somebody "Auntie Rose" mentioned when the Trotters believed they were staying with their auntie, but it turned out she was completely unknown to them.
