Continuity mistake: In the last episode of Season 5 we see Spike thrown off the tower by Doc. Spike somehow manages to change from black trousers and boots into blue jeans and white shoes mid-air. He's back in black by the time he hits the ground. (00:35:45)

Continuity mistake: In season 5, 'Tough Love', Glory crushes Tara's hand causing her blood to drip onto the bench. In later shots however, there is no blood on the bench, it is clean. (00:25:40)
Checkpoint - S5-E12
Continuity mistake: In the series 5 episode 'Checkpoint' when Buffy has just accidently axed the dummy, watch her blindfold. It goes from being pushed up above her forehead on her hair, to being right down by her eyes. This changes between every shot. (00:27:55)
Chosen answer: "So goes the nation" seems to have been used on many occasions, with various different US states in the "As .... goes" section. Most commonly it seems to be California that's considered to lead the way, but probably most other states have appeared in the lead role at some point or another. Other things have also been used - no less a person that Pope John Paul II said "As the family goes, so goes the nation...". The origin of the quote format is unclear - in US politics it goes back into the 19th century, when it was Maine that held the title spot, but, while no definitive origin is known, it seems highly likely that it goes back considerably further than that.
