Continuity mistake: In the shot of the railway bridge after it collapses completely, look closely near the end of the tracks, and you'll see a small flame that was caused by the sparks. But in the next shot of the bridge, the flame has disappeared.

More mistakes in Tugs
Trivia: The models were sold to Britt Allcroft in 1991 and were used (although heavily modified) in Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends as set dressing until 2009, when it became a CGI animated series. In 2013, eighteen of the original models were sold to the Star Tugs Company Ltd. (formerly The Star Tugs Trust) with the intention of having them restored for public display.
