Continuity mistake: When Thing knocks Hulk into the construction vehicle, its crane and wrecking ball are relatively close to the ground. When the shot changes, the crane and wrecking ball are suddenly much higher in the air, allowing the wrecking ball to knock the Fantasticar out of the air. (00:15:24)

Continuity mistake: When the Wakandan children are crawling all over Thing, keep an eye on the one on the far left, and you will see his skin briefly changes to a darker color. Continuity mistake: When the X-Men are watching Johnny and Rick Jones fly overhead, Wolverine's jacket briefly changes color. Additionally, Gambit's eyes change from having white sclera with dark irises, to correctly being black sclera with red irises, and then back again. (00:09:33)

Continuity mistake: When Dr. Doom is first seen, his left hand is bare, and he is wearing a gauntlet on his right hand. When the attendant finishes removing the wrapping from his bare hand, Doom walks over to a console and picks up two gauntlets off it, and both of his hands are now bare. Additionally, Doom's fingernails started out being short, but when he picks up the gauntlets, they are suddenly longer. (00:05:42)

Answer: Gleaned from the Internet: Much of the negative reaction was due to the poor, simplistic, and outdated quality of the animation where the characters moved stiffly and clumsily through scenes. There were also some obvious animation compositing gaffs. The animation colors were also criticized as being overly bright and cheery and out of character to the established story's darker tone. The broad humor of the first season was replaced by a more mature narrative between the characters.
