Other mistake: A bomber leisurely throws a backpack into a trashcan, which explodes moments later. It does not seem to weigh much, and is easily handled by one hand without effort. Later, we learn that the bomb used about 100 pounds of ammonium nitrate. There could not have been 100 pounds of ammonium nitrate in that backpack considering how easily it was handled. Factual error: An FBI briefer is talking about the hijacking of a passenger airliner. He calls it Flight 6175. The airplane has 6175 stenciled on the nose. Those are usually the last four digits of the airplane serial number, used by maintenance and dispatchers to designate a particular aircraft. It is not the flight number of any given trip.
