Continuity mistake: Luther at the beginning of the initial conversation grabs a cue and takes a quick shot. Magnum begins to explain he's "a little tight" on money, and in this new shot a ball moves across the pool table while the view of the table before cut lingered long enough for the balls to stop already. Continuity mistake: Right after the "girl power" fistbump, Higgins grabs her phone and there's a close-up of a Luther. In close-up, you see the right thumb on the side of the phone, but in the reverse shot the thumb is on the front of the device. (00:03:00)

Continuity mistake: The episode begins with the camera behind Juliett Higgins; she is leaning against her hand in a closed fist. Next, and we see her with the fingers straight and she makes a fist only a second later. (00:00:55)
Continuity mistake: In the ending, between cuts you can spot multiple continuity errors involving the friends' chopsticks; for instance when TC asks how the date with Higgy was, Thomas' hand was hovering above the lid, but it's inside the container right at the cut. (00:40:30)
Continuity mistake: In the terrorists' SUV, Higgins tells Magnum he's "extremely perilous to one's health", facing him, and then looks straight forward, turning her head. Next shot and she's still facing him. (00:36:15)
Continuity mistake: Magnum and Higgins are tailing the terrorist in the big red tallywacker. In the little intermission with the fish smell gag, Perdita Weeks is not wearing her seatbelt, while she does previously and after. The belt goes on and off also when they are found out. (00:34:00)
Continuity mistake: When the staff sings Happy Birthday to Magnum, Higgins joins in. Both Magnum and Juliett touch their own face with lack of continuity from one shot to the next (her hand is under her chin or not, his hand is suddenly at the side of their head, etc). Likewise when the maitre tells Magnum that they will bring the cake into the kitchen, a man behind Magnum claps right over his shoulder, only for his hands to be gone in the next shot. (00:32:35)
Continuity mistake: At the restaurant, Higgins tells Magnum that his client served in the Vietnam war. When she says that, Magnum has just put down his fork, but in the next shot, when he looks at her surprised, the fork is back in his hand all of a sudden. (00:31:50)
Continuity mistake: During the conversation with Magnum about going to dinner to investigate, in particular after her refusal, the bottle of glue stays firmly in Higgins' hand during the close-ups, but when it cuts to wider shots it pops at distance on the table. (00:27:00)
Continuity mistake: When Higgins asks Magnum if he just asked her out on a date, she is initially dealing with her vessel with both hands, but at the cut she is using just her right hand. (00:26:00)
Continuity mistake: Magnum and Rick find the fish abandoned in the middle of the road. In the first POV shot camming towards the fish, there's a bed of ice cubes all around the big tuna. In the close-up the ice cubes are scattered leaving a sizeable portion of asphalt visible. (00:21:35)
Continuity mistake: Magnum tastes Kamekona's sauce and says "That's not bad." The big guy lets go of the wooden spoon, but in the next shot he's holding it again. (00:12:15)
Continuity mistake: Thomas holds the picture of the 300-pound tuna when he sees it for the first time in a different way between shots - fingers on the corner, fingers just on the side. (00:07:15)
Continuity mistake: Magnum asks Higgins to take a left turn. When he adds "Please?", Perdita Weeks' hand is in frame, placed against her temple. In the shots before and after it is on the car door. (00:01:40)
Continuity mistake: When Magnum and Higgins are having the chat about MI6, Magnum's hair changes (random wisps appear and disappear) between shots repeatedly. (00:36:25)
Continuity mistake: When Magnum and Higgins have the exchange with "THE worst apology", Juliett is rolling her shirt back over the injured part twice in the two separate shots. (00:36:10)
Continuity mistake: When Kim says "coordinates" there is nothing on the counter besides the open styrofoam box that has been there throughout the whole scene. In Magnum's reaction shot suddenly there's take-away food on the counter. And when he says "Windward side", the paper note has rotated all of a sudden in his hand. (00:29:45)
Continuity mistake: Lara is telling Higgins about Magnum getting almost married. She is holding her cup in hand, the rim pokes in frame. When Higgins' phone rings and she picks up Magnum's call, Lara has to reach for the cup and only then puts it back into view. (00:21:50)
Continuity mistake: Magnum visits Captain Buck Greene. Out of the whole lengthy scene, when he tells him "He was kidnapped and murdered", and 40 seconds later "because you have a problem with me", he has a wisp of hair on his forehead. All the other many shots show him with a forehead clear of any hair. (00:19:00)
Continuity mistake: Thomas receives Nuzo's phone call and reaches for the watch and ring. The watch shows the time; 8:35. Later when he shoots Nuzo's kidnappers the same watch shows it's 2:40. He went straight to his friend's house, not 6 hours later. (00:10:45 - 00:12:00)
