The Day Danger Walked In - S3-E5
Factual error: Higgins, Thomas, TC and Rick are locked in a freezer. Their barber friend is tapping his horn in "a pattern" Higgins says is Morse code, and announces that he tapped "move back." Not really. I know Morse Code. All I got (along with a few undecipherable things) was TOERT NMU ETM CEA OFJ DER WK. No way that spells "Move Back."
Factual error: Higgins finds a bloodstained bag in the dumpster. The stain is bright red. The blood belongs to a person who was killed late the previous night, around midnight. After being in the hot sun for many hours the blood would have oxidized and be closer to a brown color, not bright red.
Die He Said - S1-E8
Factual error: Devon's password is his name spelled backwards, Nevod - but Windows (which he seems to be using, but in the day and age this show was made, it's pretty much a constant) has a minimum of 6 characters for a password. (00:19:00)
Die He Said - S1-E8
Factual error: The lease contract that Magnum inspects puts the City of Haleiwa in the "County of Hawaii" in the State of Hawaii, but it's Honolulu county, not "Hawaii." (00:09:40)
Factual error: Magnum comes up from the boat with 1 kg of gold - as also inscribed on the bar itself. Thing is, the ingot he brings is massive; a kilobar, even of the brick-shaped kind, is never as large. (00:34:15)
Factual error: Continuing the crossover with Hawaii Five-0, the CIA is supposedly searching people's homes, holding hostages, threatening to kill them if an SD card is not produced. This is not what the CIA does. They gather intelligence overseas, not domestically. And they are not a law enforcement agency. The FBI handles matter within the US.
Factual error: A taxi pulls up to a private jet at an airport in Hawaii. A public taxi cannot just pull up to an aircraft at an airport. It needs clearance to access airside areas. (00:21:05)
Die He Said - S1-E8
Factual error: A UH-1H army helicopter is shown. It has civilian markings, not military. (00:23:50)
Factual error: When Magnum has his US Navy white uniform on, his Armed Forces Expeditionary Service Ribbon is shown upside down. And beards are not allowed. (00:41:05)
Factual error: The lady who was killed had been using a shredder "for over ten minutes straight" the night she was killed, according to the handyman. Nothing was apparently missing, though. The next day it turned out that what she received was an employment contract. No matter how many pages the contract was, it does not take ten minutes to shred.
