Other mistake: When finally Richard gets the inspiration to crack the case, he grabs the evidence bag with the phone. The label on the bag says it was processed on 2/4/2011, in contrast with the security camera video date, 3/7/2011 (not to mention Richard's alarm clock in the previous episode, 7/2). (00:40:25)

Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the episode it is declared that the visit at the Knights' house happened just before 9:30. The light during the entire episode (the part referring to the first day, at least) is not consistent at all; when they go check the body in the prologue, the beach is sunlit like it's noon, while after the opening looks more like early morning.

Other mistake: An enraged Richard tries to get the drawing board in position making a bit of a ruckus. If you look at the board, it has names and pictures on it; they are from the future, since they are part of the 6th episode, "An Unhelpful Aid", evidently filmed earlier, out of order. (00:07:25)

Continuity mistake: Suzie Park joins uninvited Richard and his new buddy Vincent who are having a drink. Richard's hand is off the glass in the front views, but it's around it when she mentions that she knows "the five BRMs", only to be gone suddenly at the cut. (00:36:20)
