Continuity mistake: Flambeau and his father escape from a mansion, run past several cars and run around the side. Crooks exit the same door in pursuit, run past the same cars and shoot at the escaping pair who jump into a sports car and drive away. The crooks run back to the parked cars. Mysteriously, these cars all now have flat tyres! Next scene, Father Brown appears in the back seat of Flambeau's getaway car, telling the escapees that he has done something to slow the crooks down. How? Can Father Brown teleport?

Continuity mistake: When Eve gives Jacob a ride in her car, she says "Sorry for the bare feet, I can't drive in heels." She has no nylons on. When they get to the old building, Eve gets out of the car wearing black nylons and heels.
