Corrected entry: They use CPR to revive a drowned child. CPR wasn't defined until the middle of the twentieth century.
Houdini and Doyle (2016)
1 corrected entry in season 1
Starring: Michael Weston, Stephen Mangan, Emily Carey, Rebecca Liddiard
Factual error: A bill is shown in close-up, and the amounts listed are in decimal money rather than pounds, shillings and pence. British currency was not decimalised until 1971. (00:10:35)

Correction: They didn't use CPR (there was no chest compressions). Houdini just did mouth to mouth resuscitation, because as he said, he works with water a lot. Artificial respiration to revive people who have apparently drowned has been around since the late 1770's. In fact, by the end of the 19th century, hundreds of depots were set up in the UK (especially near coastal areas) to assist reviving drowning victims. Mouth to mouth is something Houdini would have known about.
