The Flash Reborn - S4-E1

Question: In the episode "Finish Line", the Speed Force tells Barry that he wouldn't experience the kind of hell that Savitar, Wally or Jay had. So why in this episode, when Barry leaves the Speed Force, does he seem confused and disoriented?

Season 1 generally

Question: Why did Eobard believe that pretending to be crippled would divert any suspicion away from him? He could simply walk around even after the accelerator exploded and people could just say that he was lucky that he didn't get injured, mutilated or even killed.

Chosen answer: No one can explain how time travel works. If by committing suicide Barry's mom survived, then there would be no Flash nor Eobard Thawne. So Eddie wouldn't commit suicide in the first place, because nothing would have happened.

Answer: The show explains in another episode that The Speed Force leaves copies of characters that no longer exist in the past to avoid paradoxes such as this example.

Paradox - S3-E2

Question: When Flash created an alternate timeline in the previous episode (S3-E1) he started to forget things. He once again created another alternate timeline in this episode (S3-E2), why doesn't he start to forget things again?

Answer: Barry didn't create another alternate timeline, he just restored his original one, however Jay intercepts him when he (Barry) tries to fix it again. He explains that no matter what he does, the timeline will not be exactly the same. Small "time fractures" will still remain. Barry will not forget because he is in his original timeline.

Marathon - S6-E10

Question: Why do Cisco and everyone else think the multiverse is destroyed? At the end of Crisis we explicitly saw a "tour" of various recreated earths, like Earth-12 with the Green Lantern Corps, Titans, Doom Patrol, Swamp thing all getting their own, Brandon Routh's Superman being back on Earth-96 in his old suit, etc. Is it just that people assume all the earths were combined because the new Earth Prime is a bit of a mish-mash?

Jon Sandys

Chosen answer: Earth Prime is a combination of Earth-1, Earth-38, and Black Lighting's Earth. However, the Earths in the new multiverse are separated by something other than vibrational frequencies, so Cisco can't vibe them, nor can they travel to other Earths as before. So the Paragons think it's still destroyed and don't know (at this point) that Queen/Spectre recreated some of the other Earth's (and new ones).

Bishop73

Answer: Exactly, the new series, Stargirl, shows a universe where the JSA existed, but to soon to tell if it's situated on Earth Prime.

Pilot - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: In episode 2.09 of related show "Arrow," during the day the particle accelerator is activated, Barry spends his time with Oliver, Felicity, and Diggle in Starling City. He arrives back in Central City just in time to see the particle accelerator activated, and he is in his lab because he was too late and missed the line at S.T.A.R. Labs. In episode 101 of "The Flash," Barry was never in Starling City during the day the particle accelerator was activated, and he and Iris actually attended the event. (00:02:10 - 00:11:30)

Tricksters - S1-E17

James Jesse: You know, when I was free and at my height, a day without casualties was like... Well, like the Cubs winning the pennant. It just never happened.
