Continuity mistake: Just before the worm bursts up from the sand in front of Rey, BB-8 is running away and then stops looking forward. In the shot with him alone, the yellow rectangle next to the heart shape on his face is lined up so the edge of it is almost right above the left edge of one of the orange rectangles under it, with the white above the orange fully. Then, in the shot with him and Rey together facing the worm, the orange rectangle has moved further away so the right edge of it lines up with the white one, with more space between the two orange rectangles closest to his face.
