Trivia: In the talk show dream sequence, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are introduced, and there is a shot of their two pairs of feet, one of which is barefoot. This is a reference to the cover of the album Abbey Road in which Paul is the only Beatle barefoot.

Trivia: The film the trio are watching on the laptop while shrunken is "Them!" A 1954 film about giant ants attacking. It was the first "big bug" film of the 50s.

Trivia: The song played throughout the film "C'mon, Get Happy" was the theme song from the 70s TV series "The Partridge Family." While Scott is lip syncing the words to the song he is imitating the late David Cassidy, the lead singer of the "Partridge Family."

Trivia: While Bill Foster, played by Laurence Fishburne, is teaching the class, the words "Matrix" can be seen on the blackboard behind him, referring to the film series Laurence Fishburne starred in.

Trivia: On the Pan Am space plane, the letters IBM appear above the computer, making them the only company appearing in this film still in business.

Trivia: There is a post-credit scene of a pet masquerade party, in which Buddy the dachshund arrives dressed as a walking Teddy Bear. Mel the pug arrives dressed as a minion. "Secret Life of Pets" director Chris Renaud also directed the "Despicable Me" films which features the minions, served as executive producer the film "Minions" and also and lent his voice as one of the minions.

X-Men: Apocalypse (2016)

Trivia: The program playing on the TV at Ororo Munroe / Storm's home which Apocalypse watches is the 1967 Star Trek episode "Who Mourns for Adonais?" which also features the return of a godlike being.

Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron trivia picture

Trivia: In the opening and closing scenes of the eagle in flight, the cloud formations resemble galloping horses.

Trivia: On Bruce Wayne's bulletin board, there is a photo of Superman holding up a car, very similar to the cover of Superman #1 in 1938. There is a similar picture of Superman on Wally's wall.

Ant-Man (2015)

Trivia: While denying the rumored existence of an Ant-Man, Darren Cross uses the phrase "Tales to Astonish." Ant-Man's first appearance in a Marvel comic form was under the title Tales to Astonish #27 (January 1962).

Godzilla (2014)

Trivia: Ken Watanabe is named "Dr. Ishiro Serizawa." His first name "Ishiro" comes from the director of several previous Godzilla films, Ishiro Honda. The last name "Serizawa" is the name of the character in the 1954 original film who invents a device to kill Godzilla, Dr. Daisuke Serizawa.

Trivia: In the opening scene, Dr. Death states he was sent to prison for "tax evasion." The actor who played Dr. Death, Wesley Snipes, was actually sentenced to prison from 2010-2013 for tax evasion.
