Dark Angel (2000)

Flushed - S1-E4

Continuity mistake: Max is wearing a baseball cap when she is arrested, and is still wearing it when she is waiting to be processed at Langford. She isn't wearing it or carrying it while they take her picture, log her belongings, and lock her down. In the prison yard, however, she manifests it in her empty right hand to give it to Break. Pilot (2) - S1-E2

Plot hole: In the hoverdrone footage, Peter goes down suddenly during the gunfight, apparently from a wound to either the head or torso. However, there is no wound or blood on him and even his bulletproof vest has no marks except for the normal studs. If he had been hit in an extremity he would not have limply collapsed instantly. Sonrisa's goons are using automatic weapons that should have no trouble hitting him many times from that range of only a few meters. (00:54:00)

Season 2 generally

Factual error: A major plot point for this season is that Max's genome has no "junk DNA." Instead, it's all coded for something. A standard human genome has about 95% junk DNA, with the remaining 5% coded for building proteins. However, research from the 1980s and 1990s indicates that junk DNA isn't junk at all, but rather explicit instructions to the cell on when and how to read the protein-building instructions. If Max doesn't have that, then her cells would never be able to build proteins and she would never have been born. Even though Max has extra coded DNA for an unknown purpose, there is still no way she could live without "junk DNA".
