Paul Andrews

Corrected entry: When Marty escapes the Libyans at the Twin Pines Mall, hits 88mph and ends up in Old Man Peabody's barn, driving in through a large opening in the barn before crashing. However, the cut to the inside of the barn shows no form of entry other than the closed doors the family are entering. In addition the inside of the barn is very small compared to the outside view. (00:30:10 - 00:31:55)

Paul Andrews

Correction: He doesn't enter the barn where the family enters the barn. He enters through the back of the barn and goes all the way through, hence why the family are facing the lights from the door they enter through, not the back of the car.

Actually there are no openings behind the car when the Peabodys enter so he couldn't have gone through.

The car spun 45 degrees when it enters the barn and comes to a stop. They enter it through the side so what you see behind the car is the other side of the barn, not the back (or front whatever you want) where he came in, that's on the right side of the car.

Corrected entry: You'll need slow-mo and pause for this one. When Griff's three mates throw down their hover boards they actually throw them beyond the camera, then digital super-imposed ones land in front of them. Watch closely at the girl's board (on the right) it's transparent, then the guy in the middle jumps beyond the camera and again super-imposed legs land on the hover board. (00:18:00)

Paul Andrews

Correction: Slow-mo AND pause? This is so difficult to see even when using slow-motion that this certainly does not class as a mistake.

Secretary (2002)

Corrected entry: James Spader says to Lee "You're not worried I'm gonna f*** you, are you? I'm not interested in that, not in the least. Now pull up your skirt." His mouth is initially closed and when he does move his lips they are out of sync. (01:10:30)

Paul Andrews

Correction: On the TV edited version, the words are muted and therefore appear out of sync. However, the actual movie doesn't have this error.

Donnie Darko (2001)

Corrected entry: In the scene where the teacher talks to Donnie about time travel theories, he hands Donnie a book, which Donnie takes with his right hand. However, throughout this scene both of Donnie's hands are holding a coloured slinky around his neck. (00:46:10)

Paul Andrews

Correction: Donnie plays with the slinky throughout this scene, taking it off at least once and then putting it back on. He could easily have let go of the slinky, in order to take the book.

The 6th Day (2000)

Corrected entry: When Adam Gibson asks the cab driver how to turn off the artificial doll he tells him and Adam repeats it. But if the cab driver has already said it once then surely the doll would have gone to sleep on hearing it the first time?

Paul Andrews

Correction: As explained in a previous correction, the doll's commands have to be directed at the doll (and probably it's tied to Cindy's owner), otherwise it would cause major confusion.

Donnie Darko (2001)

Corrected entry: When Donnie Darko returns to the cinema after throwing gasoline all over Jim Cunningham's room and setting it on fire, surely when Gretchen awakens she'd smell it on him? I also find it hard to believe she's slept through the soundtrack of a horror movie yet awakens at the sound of Donnie taking popcorn from her. (01:10:00 - 01:12:00)

Paul Andrews

Correction: Donnie could have cleaned up to get the scent of gasoline off him. Regarding Gretchen waking up, she may have been a heavy sleeper, and perhaps Donnie bumped her when he sat down or she woke up plain on her own.

Freddy Vs. Jason (2003)

Corrected entry: In the big fight scene on the pier, Freddy stabs Jason in the eyes with his knives, then Freddy goes to punch Jason and he sees it to block it with his arm. Surely he'd have been blinded from this point on in the film? (01:21:10)

Paul Andrews

Correction: Freddy only stabbed him once, so his eye may have been sliced, but it was not removed. With his regenerative abilities, his eye was still pretty much in place for the rest of the fight.

The Matrix (1999)

Corrected entry: Revolving bullet-time scene with Neo and Agent Smith in the train station. Note the speed they are turning and that of the bullets leaving the gun is identical. This would imply when played in 'real-time' they are moving at the same velocity of the bullets. The bullets should (obviously) be moving at a faster speed.

Paul Andrews

Correction: But they aren't spinning, only our view of the shot is rotating.
