Question: What was going on with John Michael Kane's body in the morgue? Nicky said that Wombosi saw the body and didn't buy it. Were they trying to pass off the dead man as Bourne?
Answer: In fact Wombosi had shots 3 times at Bourne, and he sees that the corpse has no impacts. That is how he understands that the Americans try to fool him.
Chosen answer: Yes, exactly. Kane is one of Bourne's identities and apparently one that he used extensively during the preparations for the mission to eliminate Wombosi. Wombosi goes to see the body, but, having seen Bourne, albeit relatively briefly, realises that the body in the morgue is not the same man.

X-Men 3 (2006)
Question: I'd like to know what happens to Pyro in the final battle. He is knocked pretty good on the head by Iceman, so does he get obliterated by Phoenix? Also, once Professor X has transferred himself into the body of the other man, why does his voice still sound the same?
Answer: Pyro's fate is unclear in the film, although the novel (which differs in places from the film and therefore may not be canonical) states that Iceman dragged him clear of the battle site after defeating him. As for the voice sounding the same, it's suggested that, should there be a fourth film, the comatose patient will turn out to be Xavier's twin brother (a departure from the comics, where Xavier has a twin sister), thus allowing Patrick Stewart to return to the series if he wishes to.

Question: Was Doyle written out of the show because of Glenn Quinn's death, or was that a decision made well before?
Chosen answer: Quinn didn't die until three years after being written out of the show. According to Joss Whedon, the character, while popular, simply failed to mesh well with the pre-existing characters brought across from the Buffy series, and the reluctant decision was taken to write the character out of the series; it was also mentioned by producer David Fury that Whedon liked the idea of messing with the audience a bit by introducing a main cast member, then defying expectations by killing them off swiftly, although he also mentioned this was not the original intent with Doyle.

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)
Question: Why didn't the Jedi put two and two together and realise that the bounty hunter that was used to make all the clones was the same bounty hunter that was working for Dooku and trying to kill Padme? Ok, so maybe it wouldn't have been enough information to unravel the entire Sith plot, but surely it would have warranted investigating.
Answer: From the questions that he asks Fett when they meet, Kenobi clearly does suspect precisely that. He questions him, then he attempts to follow him to his destination, where he discovers the link to Dooku. Which part of that doesn't sound like investigating?
They did. When Obi-Wan contacted Mace and Yoda, he reports about Jango. Yoda tells Obi-Wan to bring Jango in for questioning. Jango escapes before Obi-Wan can capture him.
Question: For his role as Maugrim, why was Michael Madsen uncredited?
Chosen answer: Actors sometimes choose not to be credited, particularly in cases where they're playing a role much smaller than one would normally expect them to be playing.

The Blues Brothers (1980)
Question: There is a Blues Brothers song, sang by Elwood and Jake themselves, "I'm a Sole Man". However, this song does not appear in the film, but is often related to their band. Was the song supposed to be in the movie? Is it a deleted scene? If it is, can someone tell me when it was supposed to appear?
Answer: It's called "Soul Man". The Blues Brothers exist as an entity seperate to the film - they originated as a band performing on Saturday Night Live. The band continued, releasing an album in 1978, entitled "Briefcase Full Of Blues", which contained the track Soul Man, as well as many others. This was followed by the film two years later, the soundtrack of which formed the band's second album. None of the tracks from their first album appear in the film - a third album followed shortly after the film, again containing non-film tracks.

Lost (2004)
Question: During the recent season of Lost (not sure about past seasons), during the promo for the show where it shows the island with the word LOST across it, the reflection of the island in the water does not match the island, but is in fact a city. I have not seen this discussed anywhere. Are there any thoughts or discussion about what this means?
Answer: Part of the storyline of the new season deals with events in the future after a number of survivors have escaped the island and are now living their lives back in the normal world. The island/city mix in the promotion could be designed to reflect this new set-up.

General questions
I've been trying to find a title of a movie. Cars and clothing along with grade of picture and sets, couldn't set the movie more than mid-60's to late 70's. It's titled Arthur or Arnold I believe, that's where my problem comes in, but it's where he has recently departed and left a will for his new wife and family, but they're all on audio tapes and he keeps giving them clues about where his fortune is. I know his body keeps getting moved, and that a shower literally collapses on a couple. At the end his sister is moving the body, and she's the only one to live through a carefully constructed plan between the departed and his sister. I know she finds the money at the end behind his casket or something, but a stone door closes and an audio tape of his voice comes on telling her she's trapped, fade out. Thanks if you know.

Question: When Jack saves Elizabeth from drowning, why is the Governor's first reaction to have Jack shot before he even discovers he's a pirate? He didn't know Jack was a pirate because he's shocked a moment later when Norrington reveals Jack is a pirate.
Answer: Jack's just stripped Elizabeth down to her underdress and, while Swann may not know that he's a pirate, it's pretty easy to tell that Jack's not exactly the sort of person who should be stripping governor's daughters. Swann's over-protectiveness and sense of social outrage might be a bit extreme, but given that he's just seen his daughter fall from a high cliff, nearly drown, then be dragged from the sea by a ruffian, a degree of over-reaction isn't entirely unreasonable.

Answer: According to on-screen text visible in one episode, Jonathan Archer served as Chief of Staff at Starfleet Command, then was appointed Federation ambassador to Andoria. He then served on the Federation Council, before finally holding the office of Federation President for eight years. According to additional biographical text that ultimately never appeared on-screen (and therefore may not be canon), Archer died peacefully at home in 2245, the day after attending the launch ceremony of the Enterprise NCC-1701. James T. Kirk died on Veridian III in 2371, 78 years after he was believed killed on the Enterprise-B, as seen in Star Trek: Generations (although novels written by William Shatner have resurrected the character for further adventures, these are of uncertain canonicity at best). Jean-Luc Picard remains in command of the Enterprise-E; while a future version has been seen as an ex-Federation Ambassador suffering from the lethal irumodic syndrome, this remains only a possible future. Benjamin Sisko was taken into the Celestial Temple by the Bajoran Prophets; a series of follow-up books reveals that he eventually returns and lives on Bajor with his family, but, as with Kirk, the canonicity of these novels remains unclear. Kathryn Janeway was promoted to Vice Admiral upon Voyager's return from the Delta Quadrant and, when last seen, held a position at Starfleet Command.

Question: Is there any reason why the sushi chef bothers haggling with Deckard in his native language when it's revealed not two seconds later he actually speaks perfect English?
Answer: Why shouldn't he? Just because he speaks English, it doesn't automatically mean that he must therefore bow to the linguistic preferences of others and use it. Many people take pride in their native tongues and prefer to use it. And if it puts Deckard at some small disadvantage in the haggling, so much the better.

I noticed on the list of 2008 Razzie nominations, Lindsay Lohan was nominated for Worst Screen Couple for her roles in I Know Who Killed Me. Are there any other actors/actresses who have shared that nomination with themselves?
Chosen answer: Eddie Murphy is also nominated for Worst Screen Couple this year (so would have been on the same list) for his multiple roles in Norbit. Murphy was also nominated in the 2002 awards for his appearances with several different people, including his own clone in The Adventures of Pluto Nash. Ahnult Schwarzenegger received the nomination at the 2000 awards for his double role in The Sixth Day, with Leonardo di Caprio achieving the honour the previous year for The Man in the Iron Mask. There have also been several occasions where an actor or actress has been nominated along with an item of clothing or other prop, which could arguably count as a solo nomination, and three occasions on which an actress has had her breasts nominated, which would also seem to qualify.

On Saturday Night Live in the 1970s during the "Weekend Update" segment, occasionally Chevy Chase would say a person's name followed with "is still dead." I have been trying to think of the name for some time now and it's driving me crazy! Thanks for your help.
Answer: Generalissimo Francisco Franco, the Spanish dictator, who died during the first season of SNL. Franco hovered near death for several weeks before finally passing away and news reports that he was still alive were not infrequent, leading the SNL team to adopt the parodic version after his demise.

This is a documentary film about BMW at high speed through cites. Guy Ritchie is involved in the film. I think it's about BMW doing stunts. What is the name of this film?
Chosen answer: The only thing BMW-related that Guy Ritchie has been involved in is a series of short films, created for advertising purposes under the collective name of The Hire, that were released on the internet, featuring the Driver (an otherwise unidentified character played by Clive Owen) getting into various scrapes while driving assorted BMW cars. Each of the eight films was directed by a well-known director, including Ritchie, Ang Lee, John Woo, John Frankenheimer and Tony Scott and featured prominent guest stars such as Gary Oldman, James Brown, Madonna and Don Cheadle.

How is it possible that Gary Fitzgerald was nominated for both Leading and Supporting Actor Oscars for Going My Way?
Chosen answer: The initial nominations process involves each member of the Academy nominating those within their own field for the various awards appropriate to what they do. From these, the shortlists are drawn up for the second round of voting. In the case of Barry Fitzgerald, opinion was apparently divided as to whether his role qualifies as a lead role or a supporting role. Ultimately, he received a sufficiently high number of nominations from his fellow actors and actresses that he ended up on the shortlist for both categories. Since then, the rules have been changed to prevent it from happening again.
