Continuity mistake: At the end of the episode on 11/15/05, Roman was at Marlena's penthouse. He told Alex to leave. Alex responded that he was just trying to help Marlena. Then Alex went to leave, but Marlena asked him to stay. At the start of the 11/16/05 episode, Roman called Kate from Chez Rouge and told her that a police emergency had called him away, and that he was now at the restaurant. Back at Marlena's penthouse, the conversation was continuing uninterrupted, with John asking Marlena why she wanted Alex to stay, and Alex's story then continuing from where it left off. But if enough time had passed for Roman to deal with a police emergency and then settle in for a leisurely evening, how could the conversation at the penthouse have been at a complete standstill? Since Roman had been in the penthouse with them, and then called Kate who was still in the penthouse, Roman is still tied to the timeline of their storyline thread. Only after the call would it be acceptable for the duration of his activities to not affect the penthouse scene.

Continuity mistake: On Thursday, 10/13/05, Belle saw Shawn and Mimi together on the roof. At the end of the episode, she was climbing down the ladder when her foot slipped and she appeared to fall. Belle was not seen on 10/14/05, and then at the beginning of the episode on 10/17/05, they showed a completely different scene where Belle was climbing down the ladder and her foot almost slipped from a rung, but she didn't loose her footing nearly as much as she had the first time these events were shown.

Factual error: On 9/19/05, Kate mentioned something to Billie about Billie being Lucas' "only sister." But Lucas has three sisters: Billie, Jennifer, and Cassie. All three are actually his half-sisters. Even if Kate wouldn't think of Jennifer, she would certainly remember her own daughter Cassie.

At the beginning of the next episode, Lucas asked, "Sami, what the hell are you doing here?" when she first popped out, and there were about two more lines of dialogue between the two of them before Sami delivered the same line as the day before and kissed him.

Then, in May of 2005, Marlena finally returns to Salem and soon has several civil encounters with Nicole, as if she doesn't know that the woman conspired to commit murder. She also fails to denounce Jan, even though Marlena's daughter's best friend Mimi could greatly benefit from such a revelation since she currently stands accused of attacking the woman.

Continuity mistake: On 5/26/05, Chloe was not seen for several scenes in the middle of the episode, while her bandages were changed. However, when we saw her again, a careful observation reveals that the bandages haven't been changed at all. A number of minute details remained the same, such as a slight gap in the gauze at the right corner of her mouth and a loose strip projecting from the wrapping at her left temple. If Chloe had received new bandages, there would have been visible differences in the appearance of the cloth.

However, Jennifer's cell phone should have shown her that the call was coming from her own home, which would have been quite suspicious.

Plot hole: On 3/9/05, Chelsea's mother told Chelsea and Abby that it was bedtime. Then the girls snuck out to go to the Cheating Heart. Later the same night, Abby, Chelsea, and Jennifer were all at Alice's anniversary party, so it was apparently no longer after bedtime. Then, later still, Jennifer was upset that Abby wasn't at the house and therefore was breaking curfew, even though Abby was staying at Chelsea's house in the first place. Nothing about that timeline makes any sense.
