Other mistake: The entire movie takes place during the overnight dark hours. Limited lighting from the car and flashlight somehow manage to illuminate faces, photos, signs, etc. Filming in the dark surely has its challenges, and there has to be a proper balance between lighting and ability of viewers to see what is happening. The "convenient" lighting would be a "deliberate mistake" except for one factor: A full moon (highly illuminated) is shown without radiating the light expected from a full moon. (00:26:25)

The Book of Henry (2017)
Other mistake: After surgery and throughout Henry's hospitalization, how much his head is wrapped (completely or partially) plus the amount and location/size of separated bangs vary numerous times. Once the head is wrapped, there shouldn't be much, if any, changes in the bangs because the tight bandage would hold them in place. The tight, completely wrapped head with no bangs showing immediately after surgery appeared intermittently, which doesn't make sense. Henry's head should have been shaved but was not. The Book of Henry (2017)
Other mistake: Henry and Peter got on the school bus in the morning and Susan picked them up after school. Parents often drive their kids to/from school, even when busses are available. Busses usually aren't available for students within short walking distances to school. The day Peter looked "lost" when school let out, Christina walked him home. This indicates the school is close - close enough that Susan wouldn't need to speed to home and back during the talent show or take 45 minutes to execute the plan. (00:02:48 - 00:51:39)

Those Who Wish Me Dead (2021)
Other mistake: At the school, a police officer told Owen, "Let's go" (move his vehicle). Owen tells Connor "We're playing hooky", makes a sharp turn, speeds past three school buses parked along the road, and passes a police office and school crossing guard (who didn't seem to notice). School zones have 15 MPH limits and police take speeding in these areas very seriously. A motorists violating in a school zone like Owen did would be pursued and cited with multiple offenses. The Virtuoso (2021)
Other mistake: The waitress said she got to Rosie's Cafe early and had to kill Rosie and the cook. She shot them and threw them down the basement steps, plus mopped up the blood before the loner arrived. The Virtuoso did not get there as early as he wanted to, but it was still about before 5:00 PM. He had briefly stopped along the road to ask the girl if she wanted a ride, and the waitress passed him at this point. The small amount of time the waitress was ahead wouldn't be enough time to kill and clean up. (01:35:30)

Into the Storm (2014)
Other mistake: Public schools also have dress codes for faculty/staff, and female employees should not wear anything too "revealing", such as showing cleavage. Trey showed Donnie a photo he took of a teacher, saying that he got "a nice shot of Miss Bell's cleavage." A teacher would not be likely to wear what she had on - the "cleavage" would be considered, at minimum, "disruptive" to the learning environment (especially to high school boys). (00:14:54)

Into the Storm (2014)
Other mistake: Public schools have dress codes, though they have become more liberal (lax). One thing that continues to be prohibited is the rule against wearing "revealing" clothing. Kaitlyn is wearing a blazer over her quite "revealing" low V-necked top, but the design of the blazer doesn't make it very useful for her to "cover up" and be in compliance; she would likely be sent to the office (not class) until she finds something more appropriate, which may entail having her parent bring a suitable top. The Predator (2018)
Other mistake: At the baseball field after Quinn (Rory's dad) slid through the green slime, he only had green slime under his neck on the front of his shirt - none on his pants or back of shirt where expected. (00:52:52 - 00:53:37)

The Penthouse (2021)
Other mistake: After scuba divers got Tess' body out of the water, Peter asked Det. Martinez who she was. Martinez replied, "She and Charles were common law husband and wife." Peter later asked if he would be notifying Tess' family. Martinez replied, "We don't even know Tess was her real name." It doesn't make sense that Martinez could know Charles and Tess were common law spouses if he wasn't sure who Tess really was. Also, N. Carolina never recognized common law marriage and Florida abolished it in 1968.

Rosewood Lane (2011)
Other mistake: In the hospital, Barrett had his right arm in a sling and his lower left leg in a cast. When the police/ detectives were trying to find Barrett, one detective said Barrett could not have driven himself somewhere because he had "a cast on his leg." The cast was on the left leg, so Barrett could have driven using his right leg, as usual. Maybe he couldn't have driven with a cast on his right arm, but the detective gave the wrong location of the leg cast. (00:50:30 - 01:13:45)

Rosewood Lane (2011)
Other mistake: The initial view of Barrett's hospital room shows the lower portion of an IV pole. Barely visible IV tubes are hanging down, alongside (or touching) the pole. After briefly shifting to Sonny, there is suddenly a full IV drip bag. The IV tubes are no longer flush with the IV pole - they stick out on both sides and loop at the bottom. Also, the IV drip is not connected to Barrett. (00:50:29)

Running on Empty (1988)
Other mistake: When Danny fled from the FBI cars and went to his house to get Harry, the back door was ajar and the dog (Jomo?) was near the steps. There apparently was a dog/pet door near the bottom of the door, leaving no reason for the door to be ajar in the generally hot Florida temperatures. Right before the dog goes into the house with Danny's shoe, there is a flash of a hand that quickly went behind the door, but someone was there. (00:04:37)

Running on Empty (1988)
Other mistake: Mr. Phillips told Michael (Danny) that he'd like to hear him play on his "Steinway at home", but didn't say when or give Michael his address, but Michael was able to ride his bike to the Phillips' house. Michael was in this new school (and State) for only one day, so it seems unlikely that he'd know where Mr. Phillips lived. (00:26:33)

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul (2017)
Other mistake: When the family got to the "Sleep Tite" motel, the "Beardo family" was in the hot tub. Greg apparently changed from his dark blue or black shorts to white and green swimming trunks when he went into the bathroom. A little later, he saw that the Beardos were returning to their motel room, meaning they were out of the hot tub. Greg already had his swimming trunks on when he asked if he could go to the hot tub. It didn't make sense for him to change as soon as he got to the motel.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul (2017)
Other mistake: When Rodrick and Greg bought groceries, there was one bag of "Cheez Curlz" and it ended up in the hot tub at the motel. They weren't shown buying another bag yet they had one when the pigeons "attacked."

Dismissed (2017)
Other mistake: Mr. Butler was late getting to his first period English class the morning he had a flat tire (which Lucas slashed). He went directly into his classroom from the door that opens to the outside of the building (which is odd for a school classroom). Typically, teachers must sign in as "present" and have a homeroom period before their first class. Someone would have had to cover Mr. Butler's homeroom and someone (perhaps Principal Fermont) would have gone to his first period class until he arrived. (00:28:35)

The Virtuoso (2021)
Other mistake: When the (impostor) Sheriff came into Rosie's Cafe, the Waitress said, "Deputy Myers" and asked him how he was doing. The Sheriff asked about (Aunt) Rosie, who the Waitress said went home sick. The Waitress offered the Sheriff some pastries and was talking to him for a while. (The conversation was not disclosed at that time.) The Waitress didn't give any indication that she did not know the Sheriff, but the Virtuoso later asked her how she couldn't know the Sheriff in such a small area. (00:34:01)

A.X.L. (2018)
Other mistake: Miles, a 17 - or 18-year-old whose "grades were trash", may have been able to fix his motorcycle, but it seems highly unlikely that he would be able to fix (a few times) a highly advanced robotic dog like A-X-L. [A-X-L was able to self-correct certain things.].

The Virtuoso (2021)
Other mistake: The Virtuoso kept a large bag (50#?) of dog food outside near the front door of his cabin. The Waitress put another bag beside the first one. Especially in the woods, food should not be stored outside - wild animals would quickly smell and devour it (if mice/rats did not get to it first).
