Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Continuity mistake: When Max calls himself "a pretty messed up loser-guy", his hand is on his son's chest, then under the armpit at the cut. (02:21:20)

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Other mistake: Since Max renounced his wish, it is implied and shown that he had to give up also all the benefits he gained from his role, still he uses the Marine One presidential heli to get back to land. There's also no way he'd know where his son was, considering that in the lasso's vision he was running on a highway, and he happens to find him at the White House lawn. (02:20:00)

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Continuity mistake: When Barbara reveals herself at the White House and walks towards WW telling her "I can't let you do this, Diana", her left hand is closed or with the fingers straight out. Similarly, Pedro Pascal's tie pokes out at different levels in the various shots. (01:48:50)

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Deliberate mistake: When Diana and Steve visit the Mayan guru hideout, they find an issue of Pro Wrestling Illustrated with Jerry Lawler on the cover. It's the August 1984 issue though, that couldn't be there since it's still early July. The prop department knew what they were doing there though; if you look at the cover, you can see they modified it and it actually says July 1984. (01:29:40)

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Continuity mistake: Wonder Woman loses the grip on her lasso of truth when she Tarzans her way towards the kids, but the moment she turtles up in front of the incoming escort vehicles the lasso is there on her belt. (01:25:40)

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Continuity mistake: After the battle feat when she pushed a truck for hundreds of meters at cruise speed shielding herself from bullets, Wonder Woman hides with her back to another truck bed. Gal Gadot's hair is across her face, or not, depending on the shot. (01:22:40)

Deliberate mistake: Steve is not superhuman, but he could see and almost (Diana whips it out of the way first) dodge a bullet at the beginning of the car chase. (01:21:55)

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Factual error: When Max is driving off with the egyptian Emir's former security team, they are driving cars that have license plates with numbers and letters. In the '80s, Egyptian license plates were in a numbers only format. (01:19:20)

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Continuity mistake: Barbara kicks the Dangerous Drunk one last time, and we see him fall with the feet next to the curb of the sidewalk. The man is still conscious and tries to move, seemingly to crawl forward, but we do not see him even budge, and when Leon the cultured hobo arrives mere seconds later the guy is unconscious and can't even move, but he's in the middle of the road now. Other mistake: The Emir wishes his ancestral land to be returned to him and the heathens to be kept out, but the wall that magically appears has 'heathens' on both sides of it, so his wish does not seem to be fulfilled. (01:19:00)

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Factual error: Past the escalator, Steve and Diana walk past some literal punks who are wearing T-shirts. Some are appropriate for the period (such as the Bad Brains one, their debut album is from 1982) but the one with the cheetah leggings is sporting a Cro-Mags T-shirt; their debut album "The Age of Quarrel" (and its artwork is on the T-shirt itself) was a September 1986 release and this unfortunately isn't Wonder Woman 1986. Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Factual error: The mall robbery happens on July 1st, as shown on the newspaper clipping Diana finds, which is coherent with the events depicted in the movie (they rob the mall on the 1st, the day after the stone is at the Smithsonian and Diana and Barbara bond over dinner, then on the 3rd Maxwell arrives, grabs the stone at the evening party, and he is already super powerful the afternoon he takes off for Cairo). Problem is, July the 1st was a Sunday, and not just the mall, but pretty much any other store downtown is open, and similarly since it's the 4th, financial operations wouldn't be happening (although in this case you could always argue that we deal with wishes - but it's an extra layer of implausibility). Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Other mistake: In the end credits, two actors are credited as "Camaro driver" and "Camaro passenger." The sports car that appeared in the movie (without a mandatory front license plate) was however a Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. (00:11:35 - 02:26:00)

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Other mistake: Flying the jet plane, Steve is surprised by the lights in the sky and needs Diana to explain to him that it's fireworks and it's the 4th of July. Fireworks are something that has existed for centuries, and Steve himself was the one who found the plane ticket for the 4th commenting "If this date is right." (01:11:30)

Suggested correction: He didn't realise it was the 4th of July, he's just surprised to see fireworks, not that he doesn't know what they are. The date on the plane ticket he just forgot.

lionhead

He asks "What's that?" when the fireworks are visible and can't really be mistaken as anything else, and he himself was fully aware of the date before they headed to the hangar, but Diana says "The 4th" and he asks "The 4th of July?" like it's the first time he even thinks which month is it. If you listen to it, the emphasis is on the question in the delivery of the line as in "It's the 4th of July?", not as in "Oh, the 4th of July, right!"

Sammo

She says it's the fourth and he instantly realises it's fireworks for the fourth of July. There is no indication whatsoever that Steve doesn't know what fireworks are and your movie mistake suggests the makers intended Steve not to know what fireworks are, which is ridiculous. Your interpretation of the scene is just wrong.

lionhead

He does not instantly realise it's fireworks for the fourth of July. She has to reassure him that "oh it's OK, it's just fireworks", then she says "The 4th, of course" and he replies, as I said "The 4th of July?" with huge emphasis on the surprise. Sorry if you find my interpretation of the scene 'just wrong', but if they did not have his character call attention on the date literally 5 minutes earlier in the movie (it is a fact), I would have not reported it just for the fireworks part alone (which is more subjective, we read differently, and I respect your position).

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Continuity mistake: Max (Pedro Pascal) wishes to magically remove Simon from his path, and the Feds arrive. He asks one of them for information who shoos him off. Notice that two more agents are joining. Max then walks back to the entrance and those same agents are walking again, and when a few seconds later he's outside looking in, they are still just barely now joining the others. (00:55:40)

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Continuity mistake: Max approaches Dr. Minerva on the stairs at the party. When he tells her not to accept "the limitations of nature", look behind her at the people coming down the stairs; there's a very characteristic man with a moustache, tan sunglasses and greasy hair. Seconds pass, and when Minerva chuckles at Max's remarks, there's that same guy again descending that same flight of stairs. (00:42:50)

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Factual error: Diana decides to attend the party Lord invited her to. The music played as she makes her way through the various sleazeballs is "Welcome to the Pleasuredome" from Frankie Goes to Hollywood's eponymous album, which was released in 1984 yes, but just on October 29th, and almost a whole year later as a single. The movie takes places around 4th of July. (00:41:05)

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Continuity mistake: Gal Gadot just bumped into Kristen Wiig. She walks off and Natasha Rothwell (Carol) asks her if she knows her insignificant co-worker. When Wiig says "Remember you hired me? Started last week?" she has both hands clasped together at the briefcase in one shot, while in the reverse she's pointing at herself and only then her hands join supporting the case. (00:21:35)

Continuity mistake: Minerva is on the floor picking up papers and trying to get her colleagues' attention. When they walk past her, she changes the hand she is using to pick the paper far away from her, and she has suddenly an extra paper standing conspicuously still vertically into the briefcase. Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Other mistake: Wonder Woman pushes the cute kid to safety onto a big FAO Schwarz plush. She then lassos the two baddies and springs to the opposite side of the mall hall to capture the last two, then turns to her left and exchanges knowing looks and complicit winks with that kid that is still sunken into the plush toy. They should be nowhere near close enough for her to do that. (00:16:00 - 00:16:40)
