Deliberate mistake: The woman being attacked by the tiny astronauts lives in very primitive conditions, suggesting a hard life with no electricity or running water. But close-ups of her hands show she has perfectly manicured nails.

Deliberate mistake: In TV shows when people are gathered around the table, usually because they're eating a meal, the characters do not sit completely around the table. Rather, they sit unnaturally horseshoe-shaped so the characters at the end of the table don't have their backs to the audience. Not a way any group would ever sit in the real world.

Deliberate mistake: When Indy and Marion are sealed in the well of souls, they are completely cut off from the outside world. As such, other than the torches, it should be pitch black, but it is surprisingly well lit in there.

Deliberate mistake: In TV shows and movies that depict civilization in a state of collapse, such as The Road, The Postman or The Stand, people walk when they need to go from one place to another. The implication being that powered vehicles no longer work. The question is, what happened to all the bicycles? They would get you where you want to go much faster than walking, yet, they don't seem to exist in the future.

Deliberate mistake: Whenever someone needs to dump out someone's garbage because they're looking for something, it's always dry and clean, never disgusting.

Deliberate mistake: How many times have we seen cars and trucks drive through snow, dirt and mud, only to arrive at their destination perfectly clean.

Deliberate mistake: In the two scenes when Ben and Riley are in the documents room, it is in full light. The rotunda is actually dimly lit as a way of protecting the documents from light damage.

Deliberate mistake: When Riley uses the video camera laser to disable the Declaration of Independence sensor, that could never happen since cameras are not permitted in the documents room.

Deliberate mistake: Though characters have full-time jobs, they seem to have incredibly understanding bosses since their day and night hours are spent with people outside the workplace.
