But the red haired lady dramatically collapses to the floor. Then during a closeup, glances upward at MacNelly, and then her head droops downward.

Deliberate mistake: When the lion appears during the beach scene, the timing doesn't add up. In the first takes it makes its way halfway out to the sand, while Jane is bathing in the ocean. After Jane is done and redresses herself, the lion suddenly emerges from the place it first appeared.

Then Sydney confronts her outside and wrestles her up out of the chair in which Hilda fakes a tumble down the steps. That night Hilda's attorney visits Sydney and admits he knows Hilda is a con who got away it instead of calling it out to the judge.
