Question: In the opening scene, why was Luis not particularly bothered by the sudden appearance of a neighbor child in their house standing at the entrance to their bedroom? He reacts to her initially as though she were an overnight guest who had been sleeping down the hall and not as someone who doesn't live there.

Answer: Since it's not addressed in the script or the film, any answer would be speculation. One could be that Luis is just a generally laid back person, and the appearance of a young child he knows is not enough to ruffle his feathers, even if she isn't supposed to be there. He also just woke up, so he could be a bit groggy and not fully processing the situation as quickly as he might normally. More likely, it's simply the way the scene was filmed; the director and actor didn't think it important to show Luis "bothered" by the girl's presence (prior to noticing the blood, of course).

Answer: He also likely knew her since Anna had a conversation with the kid earlier about "say hi to your mom for me'.

Dawn of the Dead (2004)

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene after Anna's neighbor is hit by the ambulance, his body is visible lying in the street. However, when Anna is driving away you cab see the street through her car's rear window and the neighbor's body is nowhere to be seen.

Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

Question: How would Markowski have known the details of a medal that only the First-Person Shooter would ever be able to obtain? As Calhoun says, their only job is to help the FPS reach the top, so they can get a medal. The NPCs never get it.

Answer: As NPCs in the game, they have knowledge of the game itself, like how NPCs in some games give out quests even though they don't go on the quest itself.

Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

Question: In order for the game to end, the player has to lose his or her last life. As such, the closing screen shouldn't end with Ralph being thrown off the roof, but rather with Fix-it Felix doing the lie down holding a lily, with Ralph standing at the top of the ruined building in triumph. So why does the end of a successful day show the aftermath of Ralph being thrown off the roof of the building?

Answer: If Fix it Felix, Jr. is an "endless" game, then yes the Game Over screen should only come up when the player loses. If Fix it Felix, Jr. has a final level then it's perfectly normal for a Game Over screen to pop up at the end of the last level, after Ralph has been thrown from the roof.

Frequency (2000)

Question: Why did John's house suddenly alter so drastically when Jack's hand was blown off in the past? Did this one event somehow turn John into a better interior decorator?

Answer: Because the house is no longer John's. In this universe, his parents still live there.

Or he lives there and his wife redecorated.

I always took the scene at the end with Julia and Frank getting in a packed car with an older looking Elvis as them moving and leaving the house for John. And as I said above John's wife must have moved in and decorated.

Answer: The house changed because John's life changed, with both his parents alive to nurture and guide him, he became a different person. Different lifestyle and attitudes.

Wall-E (2008)

Answer: In addition to the other answer, which I agree with, someone might also be escaping while carrying some type of vital information for which they are willing to sacrifice themselves to prevent an enemy from obtaining it.

Answer: Been a while since I've seen this movie but to answer your question...an escape pod would have a self destruct to allow the person inside to end things if all hope is lost. For example if you have no food or water and are just flying through space with no rescue in site. You may just want to end it instead of suffer.

Wall-E (2008)

Question: WALL-E was apparently designed to be highly durable to the point of being able to withstand being struck by lightning twice. So how was AUTO able to incapacitate him with a mere stun gun?

Answer: The "mere" stun gun seems to have been designed to incapacitate robots (such as the "problem" robots freed by Wall-E earlier), and also lasts considerably longer than a flash of lightning...AUTO shocks Wall-E for several seconds. Besides that, the lightning scene is played for laughs, while the other is dramatic, so some suspension of disbelief is at play.

Question: Why did falling from a cliff result in the player losing a life, but falling 1,000 feet to the ground upon respawning did not?

Answer: It's common in video games that during a respawn a character has a brief period of invulnerability to prevent cheap deaths.
