Continuity mistake: When Martha approaches the men at the transportation shed, the stereo is visible on the bench on the right and its front is parallel to the side of the bench, but when it switches on for the dance fight, it is now at about a 30 degree angle, touching both sides of the bench. After he asks that question and Maizy raises her hand, look at the desk belonging to the girl in the row next to Maizy. It has crayons and other supplies on it. After the teacher calls Maizy's name, the shot goes back to her, showing the girl in the next row's desk completely empty. (00:58:00)

Visible crew/equipment: When the girl is dragged by the motorcycle, she unties herself and starts to walk. A crew member can plainly be seen standing in the background. (01:35:00)

Visible crew/equipment: The scene where Spencer throws the boomerang for the first time and misses the bikers they take off running. While they are running from the bikers, there is a shot right before the boomerang hits the bikers where you can see a camera man sitting in the bushes on the left side. You don't have to pause it, but can to see it better. (00:36:30)

Revealing mistake: In the scene near the end, when the two cops are fighting in the "out of control" bi-plane, the plane is seen looping and twisting as the "pilot" Tack has jumped out. However, in the side-on view of them fighting you can see a new pilot trying desperately to stay out of shot, but failing due to the g-forces he is under while the plane moves around. (01:16:00)

Continuity mistake: When the rich character, Hedges, is driving along the highway, he is in a limo with an oval window behind the door. However, the shot of the inside of the limo has a square window at the back and an angled door window. (00:13:30)

Continuity mistake: At the start of the film, Mahoney is wearing a white shirt with badges on it from the company he works for. When he's being interrogated by Sgt. Reed the shirt remains the same until the last part of the scene. The camera stays on Mahoney and we can see that the badges on the shirt are gone. If you look closely, you will notice that he is even wearing a completely different white shirt, which now looks more scruffy and creased. (00:08:00)

Continuity mistake: When Marty goes back from 1955 to 1885 and meets the Indians, note that none of the Indians shoots any arrows nor do any arrow hit the car. You can see that when he drives the car back into the cave. But when he gets back to the cave after the Cavalry ride, a long arrow sticks out on the side of the car. (00:18:10 - 00:20:00)

Continuity mistake: The note Jenny puts up in the restroom changes; when Starman goes into the bathroom while Jenny is signing the receipt, notice that the postage stamps holding the note to the mirror are now in different positions and the word "help" is smaller. (00:35:55 - 00:36:45)

Continuity mistake: When Kevin is in the taxi going over the bridge, he is wearing gloves. But in the closer shot he is not wearing gloves. (00:19:30)

The remaining three times Ned calls out to Phil with that background, the Open Sunday sign is gone, and the poster in the door has changed to a smaller red sign. Also, vehicle positions have changed slightly, and the black truck's tire sidewall on the left changes position between first and remaining scenes. (00:10:20 - 00:21:25)

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene Phil is doing a weather report and is wearing a wireless mic on his vest. When they go off-air he jumps up and two seconds later the wireless mic is gone, neither on his vest or in his hands. Taking off both the mic and the transmitter would take longer than two seconds.
